Tried picking up a sim card from the local Rogers store up here. They told me I had to sign up for a new plan in order to get it. 
Guess I'm just calling Rogers directly instead.

Was put on hold for almost an hour before someone took my info to start a trouble file and said someone was going to call me back. Didn't say when or how long it would take to fix the problem.

I'm on a rooted Roger's Note 2 but my co-worker is on a stock Roger's S5 and we both get the same error message.
I'll unroot my phone tonight and give that a try.

Finally got my sim but it wouldn't let me swap online so I called in. The rep told me that I have credits on my account that aren't valid with the new NFC sim and that if I activate the sim I'll lose my credits...... 
anyone else have this problem?

I finally tried activating suretap and adding the Rogers prepaid card two nights ago. I didn't have any problems whatsoever with my stock Note 2. Had my money in less than five minutes.

Haven't had luck with phones that arent listed on the site. They said they need to tweak the software for each different phone. And they are working through the list of phones they sell for suretap compatibility, so phones such as the Oneplus One will never be on the compatible list because Rogers will never carry that phone.
Although there may have been reports of wizards from rfd getting phones to work which are not on the list. I haven't seen any concrete evidence yet.

it finally worked for me. I contacted them via email and after 3 days they finally emailed me back that things should work now. I initially couldnt register and the guy told me to uninstall Suretap and reinstall it.
You activate the Prepaid mastercard then $100 will be automatically loaded into your balance.
