We already have a ton load of decent forwards a 0 stud dman

Chychrun would be a more valuable player than a forward given our lack of depth in terms of d-man prospects.

This kid is developing his game at a faster rate than Eckblad.

If Benning is gonna draft a prospect d-man for this team, he should really take a good look at this kid. He's legit. -good size at 6 foot 2, 215 pounds.
-strong shot. -has leadership skills as alternate captain for the Sarnia Sting.

I would go for Chychryn based on an organizational need. As you guys have mentioned, we have a bunch of forward prospects already but we don't have much in the cupboard in terms of defenseman. Canucks have never had a bonafide #1 defenseman and almost every Stanley Cup winning team always has one

the question is with canucks record so far this year how bad will they have to be to get a top 5 pick? I mean knowing the oilers will most likely challenge for number 1 over all...Im hoping the canucks will some how try to get a high draft pick or atleast move up in the draft to pick chychryn a bonafide dman that canucks need ASAP!
