Doubt he will get fired at all. Expectations are low this year and the Canucks don't need a third head coach on the payroll.

If there's any coach that is at risk of being fired, I think it would be Bruce Boudreau (Anaheim) 6-8-4, or Mike Johnston (Pittsburgh) 10-7-0, two teams with big expectations for this season.

Both teams have kind of turned it around and started to play better, but it's 17 games into the season already so I don't think the excuse "the season just started" applies anymore.

It's hard to believe that Pittsburgh with so many talented offensive players can only manage 2.06 goals a game, however, their blue line aside from Letang isnt very good.

Anaheim is even worse though, they only score 1.78 goals a game.

Mike Jonston's defensive system is boring and is suffocating Pitt's offence.

Pittsburgh could really benefit from another d-man who can move the puck well, Letang can't do it by himself. In the NYR vs PIT first round series of last seasons playoffs, it was almost impossible for Pittsburgh to get up the ice from their defensive zone cause their d-men could not get the puck to the forwards.

I wish Pittsburgh would trade Malkin. It would be interesting to see what he could do as a legit #1 center.
