^High IVs. Each stat (Attack, Def, HP) have a total of 15 IV. A Pokemon with 15/15/15 will have the highest possible CP of that Pokemon, compared to a 0/0/0 of the same Pokemon. People / websites use a % (like 91% IVs) to indicate they are 91% perfect. Some IV calculators will actually show the estimated breakdowns (like 14 attack, 14 defense, 15 HP etc) along with the % |
awesome thanks, I had no clue about that, I must be an idiot but where do I find these stats? when I click on a pokemon al I see is CP and HP and the two moves it has |

Unfortunately, the IV information aren't shown in this game. You have to use a third party app or website. I use these: https://thesilphroad.com/research https://pokeassistant.com/main/ivcalculator Those 2 should be "safe", as you enter Poke information manually. Other websites log in and receive data from the servers to show you IV automatically. Not sure if Niantic will punish users or not for doing that? |

A few nights ago my brother had 3 Dragonites in a row run from him in Burnaby... https://media.giphy.com/media/nLIiW6wj9WnSM/giphy.gif |
I thought IV stays the same after evolving? I had a 80.0% IV flareon and powered it up now its a 71.1% |

Just hang out by the fountains at Metro and when people start getting up in droves, you follow lol. |

There was a minor update. If you click on your pokemon, you can appraise and get comments about the stats. You can decipher it using this chart here: Pokémon Go Database: Appraise |
Does IV have anything to do with high or max CP? |
Ideal moveset versus better IV ie. Dragonite - dragon breath/dragon claw 68.9% vs 93.9% steel wing - hyper beam |
Anyone know where a good spot for growlithes are? |

I've caught a few around the playground near the main parking lot. There was 3 there this morning according to pokelocate.io |
-caught a rare Pokémon, a wild Tauros, at my desk at work yesterday. Of course, I was on coffee break. :troll: Tauros are only found in North America: One co-worker was so lucky last weekend. He showed me the Snorlax which he caught in front of his house. LUL |
People still play this game? EleGiggle |
Tauro's are getting more and more common in Vancouver after the latest changes. But nothing is beating Drowzees. =( |
Tauro's must be getting more common cause I read Pasta's post before lunch and go out and catch one on the way to grabbing it and a 748CP as well. Haven't seen one till now either. |
Eh. Taurus spawn almost everyday in my neighbourhood with no pokestops. Just came from from Taipei, man is it rigged over there. Double and triple pokestops at almost every intersection. Went up a few levels just from pokestops alone. |

Geodudes spawn around metro. Not COMMON, but have caught a few already. My 1800 CP snorlax has sat in a gym for 7 days already! Collected 80 coins thanks to him ;] |
It was no surprise to see just a handful of players at the triple lure tonight at Queen Elizabeth park. -did see some parents take their kids to this park to battle Pokemon in the gym. One kid won three battles tonight. LUL highlight: -caught four Onix and one Rynhorn: http://www.geekno.com/en/wp-content/...6/08/onix.jpeg http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/...20101006004607 |
Metrotown and the surrounding area was nuts tonight. The triple lure was definitely not as busy as a few weeks back, though. Went with my gf just to keep her and her friend company and we ended up catching: 1x Lapras 2x Snorlax 1x Aerodactyl 1x Arcanine 1x Dragonite 1x Gyarados |
