I caught a dragonite by sheer luck on wendnesday. It was CP38. :facepalm:

IV's are like 88% though and moveset is decent, so I started powering up. Takes a lot of candies to power it up from that low though.

That Onix nest was full of Drowzees when I was there around lunch time yesterday.
Also, there was a hot spot for Pikachu's near by.
Caught 5 of them in 2 hrs.

someone should hit up some nest to confirm. Pokevision doesnt show all pokemons anymore. Last night the Blastiose didnt show when it popped up at high gate

At work, and was fiddling with the IV calculator on my previous Dragonite. So I turned on Pokemon GO to check his stats, and the first thing I see is a wild Dragonite! Quite the coincidence.

Unfortunately, the new Dragonite's IVs are below average, so if anyone misses it, don't feel too bad.

Dragonites needs to be nerfed everyone before update just use vaporeon to fight gym and leaves a dragonite or snorlax

Anyone else feel that this game has already peaked and is on the decline? Been to stanley park, coal harbour and oly village tri/quads over the past few days and theres roughly 50% less people compared to 2 weeks ago.

Just hatched my last 2 10km eggs.

He has Zen Headbutt and Body slam though... but with Lick nerfed, maybe mine isn't too bad ;o

Like 2 or 3 nights ago, I went out for a walk to find an Aerodactyl that appeared on on my Nearby tracker. When I walked out, there were CROWDS of people walking in that area looking for him too. Someone was like "Is there some sort of event going on???" lol.

I just reached level 21 and I still haven't seen a dragonite or a snorlax yet lol

The update for Pokemon Go has warning messages when you load the app.

The text font used for the Pokemon are different too. -no more foot prints to indicate the location of nearby Pokmeon.

The latest update prompted a pretty big community backlash.

First they hid the footsteps thing instead of fixing the feature. Next, Pokevision and similar sites/apps have been offline.

I've heard that Niantic is horrible at PR from it's Ingress days and it's starting to look that way. Their boss' twitter was hacked. Reddit and other communities are organizing refunds via Play and Apple stores. At the same time people are starting to get bored of the game because there isn't a lot to do except for grinding. Gym pokemon are well ahead of a casual player or someone who started late that it's impossible to catch up. With a lack of features and nerfed tracking... what a mess.

I agree with the decline of the game, last night at Metrotown the crowd looked smaller or it could've been the weather as it was a bit chilly and with pokevision down, who wants to grind away collecting xp when no rare Pokemon is around

I was at both metro and QE in the evening, both places had really little people. Most likely alot of people went to the fireworks since it was Disney.

For me when I go pokemon hunting I always have pokevision up so I check if there are any rare nearby. If a rare happens to spwan close I will go there.

Now with pokevision offline and the in game tracking pokemon not working I don't see the point of actually going on hours and hours of Pokemon hunting and hoping for something good. Also the tracker doesn't even work. Both my phone and my co workers' phone will show different Pokemon around us. like WTF we were standing right next to each other. So instead of actually improving the tracking in game, Niantic decided to just disable the function and have all 3rd party tracking apps/website shut down as well.

I am not going ask for a refund but I won't be spending more money on lures till they actually fix the tracking.
