Got my pokedex to 100 yesterday...

We drove to burrard and nelson to get the lapras and missed it because the server crashed :alone: pokeball was just floating in the air :alone:

so when should I use my first lucky egg? I'm currently level 11 have and have 211 pokemon in my bag most commons. I just don't want to use it super early and waste it.

Use it when you have enough evolves to last the 30 mins.
Each evolve is about 30 seconds

Make sure you're at a triple or quadruple lure when you drop it, because every thing you do is doubled for XP

200xp for catching a pokemon you already own
1200xp for catching a brand new pokemon you don't own
100xp for each pokestop you spin
1000xp for evolving pokemon

That's why Pidgey's are so damn useful in leveling up, because it only takes 12 Pidgey candies to give you 1000xp with a lucky egg. I'd find a spot that has a trip/quad lure that also has a lot of other pokestops within close walking distance so you can maximize the XP gained from constantly walking around and hitting pokestops and catching pokemon. I didn't use my first lucky egg until I had about 22 pokemon ready to evolve.

Use this tool to decide if your pokemon is worth evolving for keeps or whether you should save the candies for another higher CP version of that pokemon (applies more for the higher level guys than the lower levels)

If you have enough pokemon to evolve to last the entire 30 minutes then that's the most efficient use of the lucky egg time, and you won't need to be near any lures.

This is sorta not NEWS, but thought it was interesting (for me atleast). Knowing which pokemon has the highest potential. Dragonite I guess was a given :P

That's the other way of doing it, but most people don't wanna wait to have 60 pokemon to evolve. It takes like 20-30 seconds for each evolution from clicking the button to when the entire slow ass animation ends.

it's like the pokemon know i work in a shitty part of down. pokevision shows literally shows 1 spearow for like an 6 block radius from my work (downtown east side)

Have you guys noticed different pokemon showing up at your house today? Ever since I got home I've seen and caught a Mankey, Bellsprout and Goldeen and lost a Haunter cause I was driving lol

got a tentacool in my house, thought that was a little weird

I caught a Magnemite in my house, don't really know how rare that is lol
