My NHL 17 season is going much different and I only sim. Only few things I've done are sign the PTOs to 1-year deals (traded Sheppard to NYR for our 6th back after he was released IRL) and control the lineup and strategies. Canucks are 2nd in the Pacific, wrll above .500, Sedins are both top 5 in scoring.
Edit: 26-18-2
Daniel with 26-29-55, Henrik with 9-42-51
lol really?
that's all it took for Yak?
a plug and a 3rd, potentially 2nd round pick?
goddamn, i would've given them 3 plugs and a conditional 3rd. We're loaded with plugs.

We traded Mallett *and* and third round pick for Andrey fucking Pedan......... and St.Louis gives up just a conditional third for a very talented first round draft pick with some attitude issues?????
Don't forget that we traded a perfectly good, local, prime-aged defenseman in Jason Garrison for that 2nd to make room for recently-acquired Luca Sbisa and to clear cap space to sign Jarome Iginla.

I really felt like I needed to fail your post... but it was just because it was representing so much management stupidity. Must. calm. down.
Shinkaruk cut from Flames camp. That plus Jensen being waived earlier this week; Benning is a genius!

I don't think benning is wrong in valuing a player. He's been a scout for how long? It's his asset management that upsets me more. Forsling is one. Guy increased his value from the wj, of all the people you trade for why clendening?

just read that Quenneville really likes Forsling and he might crack the Blackhawks roster (as a 20yr old!!!) despite already having a stacked D corps...

20 goals and 40+ pts last season at 1.25M on an expiring contract
