What's this "guilt" you speak of? Oh whatever. *Revs rotary*

I would honestly keep one gas or hybrid for emergency where I have to go on a road trip and charging just takes too long. If there is one thing I have to say about myself, I am very impatient. I will have anger issues if I am forced to wait for my EV to charge.

For a DD though, it's a good choice. Just charge the car as you sleep and you will be fine.

The environmental thing to do is to keep your current car as long as you can and drive it less. According to Wikipedia, it takes almost 9 tonnes of CO2 to produce an electric car. If you buy one, you already polluted that much into the air. Not to mention it's another car on the road assuming you're not sending your old one to the scrap heap.

If your car broke down beyond repair then it makes sense to replace it with an electric. If runs perfectly fine then just drive it less if you care about the environment.

I think I'll buy an ev if it was made by Honda or Toyota. I just don't trust that Elon Musk guy to produce a good product.

My solution to these gas prices is riding my scooter more. 500 bucks insurance a year, 5L to fill up and it goes 150km on a tank. I've been scootering around buying groceries, doing errands and going to work. It's friggin great !!! (Although this f150 guy called me a fag the other day, I just laughed and passed him easily while he was stuck in traffic.)

I've seen a few of his cars and the quality is horrible. Feels like a beta tester product then a real production item.

Not a trump supporter, so I wouldn't be a Musk supporter either.

Have you seen/heard the shit that comes out of his mouth? Not to mention the multiple worker's rights claims or how he sought out to destroy someone's entire life cause said person wasn't on team musk.

Yeah fuck that guy.

my new neighbor with TDI should feel ashamed they haven't sent it to the scrapyard/forced VW to buy it back

That's aggressive, I mean I think it every time I see some dude motor by on a scooter but I don't verbalize it.

Yeah it's pretty fucking gay. It gets less gay the faster I go though. 100+ down highway 91 is sick.

Depends on the scoot. I get thumbs up on the ruckus when I cruise white rock beach and it’s not even that nice yet.. bit of a Frankenstein at the moment. I can go 70kmh now.. 74 downhill!

Have a CDI kit to install. Hoping 80 is within reach

Ruckus is a badass scooter. I wished they made bigger displacement ones. A 400cc ruckus would blow my socks off. Even my 250 is a tad bit slow compared to the sportsbikes I used to ride.
