I went in the first time just looking at the TVs and expressed my interest in purchasing the X900E, they really tried to push the Samsung / LGs since they can lower the prices without fear of Sony's pricing lol.

I called the day after after seeing the teletime deal and talked to the same sales person, said best he would do was 1399. I just went in the following day to see if I could do better in person and managed to get it for 1299 + 5 year warranty. After repeatedly saying I would just order from teletime but would prefer to support/buy it locally first.

They're good at for their price, during the most of the year. But when it comes to Black Friday/Boxing Day when the prices for Samsung/LG come way down, I wouldn't take it over the latter as the prices come quite close to each other since there's not much margin on Vizio TVs.

Depending on which month I buy a house... I Guess I'll go with the Vizio 70'' if I'm no where near Black Friday/Boxing Day

Some of Vizio's televisions such as the M/P series have some of the best reviews for picture quality for the dollar on Rtings.

If you are going to buy a vizio tv, i would def recommend the P model.

one thing to note is, it's a very good tv if you are looking at the screen straight on, at an angle there will be some glare.

i read a lot of reviews on rtings before i purchased

Which bestbuy did you go to? I'm looking at those 2 models too. Side by side would be a nice comparison.

i haven't seen any posted prices during BF for the LG's.

costco.com has some BF deals for PS4, I saw the slim bundle for $199 USD. Don't recall if there are any deals for the Pro but worth taking a look.

If u guys wanna futureproof your TV. Might as well splurge on OLED. Prices are reasonable when they go on sale.

Nothing about OLED really future proofs your TV. As long as your TV is 4k and supports the majority of HDR formats it's about as future proofed as you can get.

prices arent quite there yet to justify it imo.

for 1400-3000 you're getting the top model full array LED, for that price you're only getting mid to entry level OLED, i'll take the higher model over the tech for now.

Pretty much every OLED TV is high end right now. For LG all their panels are the same throughout each model, the only difference is the sound quality and design.
