Black Friday 2017

Now that All Hallows' Eve is over, it's time to get ready for.......... BLACK FRIDAY!!!!

It started in the US, but businesses up here have started to join in. Not sure if it's going to be good or not. I think it was shitty last year, but who knows?

Post anything related to Black Friday here. Doesn't matter if it's down south up here, or on-line.

Its my first Black Friday that I need/want to buy car parts/mods. Anyone know if Black Friday/Cyber Monday is a good sale season for this? Should I just start a thread on Black Friday - Car Mods?

lol

any deals on dash cams?

Traum 11-02-2017 11:04 AM

Been waiting for BF to pick up some SSDs and HDDs. Compared to last year, I can't believe how much SSD prices have climbed. Last year, the best SSD deal I saw was $130-something for a 750GB for a Crucial SSD -- and I missed it by a day. Right now, you can barely get a decent 250GB SSD for that money. FailFish

$189.99 USD -> $243 CAD for PS4 pro :pokerface:

You got my hopes up. That price is for a regular Slim

ForbiddenX 11-02-2017 11:57 AM

Might consider getting a new TV for our place. Currently using a 40" that we brought from Toronto that we didn't intend to keep lol.

https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product...10584567.aspx?

1599 for the 55" X900E
I wonder if that'll get any cheaper during black friday? The free wall mount / mounting service saves me the trouble of doing it myself (and potentially screwing up lol)

Misread... :fuuuuu:

Thanks. I've been eyeballing new 65" tvs for my basement den. I'd love the 930e, but for the price, the 900e is what I'm likely going to end up getting.

Sitting tight on some BF deals on Tein coilovers. Need me some Street Basis for the price of Racelands!

Back on topic: Computers and accessories are the only things I really pay attention to on Black Friday. I buy 99% of my stuff on Craigslist now but I won't buy used computer gear (just don't want to). Last year I picked up a $1400 laptop for $700 at NCIX. I want to get more SSDs as well as a good USB hub.

With the state that NCIX is in right now, I really question what kind of position they're in to put up any sort of meaningful Black Friday sales. It's sad because I have generally been able to pick up at least an item or two during their BF/CM sales in the past.

Black Friday is generally a good time to buy major appliances. Usually, there's an additional 10-15% off on top of regular sale prices.

Been reading and seems like they’ve toughened up on selling for 1799. I think 65 might be a big too big but seems like such a good deal for the price. Might try tomorrow on marine and see what happens. Wife’s given the thumbs up if I can get a good deal

Is that on individual pieces, or sets? I need a new GE washer but I see most deals are only if you buy a washer and a dryer.
