Now that All Hallows' Eve is over, it's time to get ready for.......... BLACK FRIDAY!!!!
It started in the US, but businesses up here have started to join in. Not sure if it's going to be good or not. I think it was shitty last year, but who knows?
Post anything related to Black Friday here. Doesn't matter if it's down south up here, or on-line.

Been waiting for BF to pick up some SSDs and HDDs. Compared to last year, I can't believe how much SSD prices have climbed. Last year, the best SSD deal I saw was $130-something for a 750GB for a Crucial SSD -- and I missed it by a day. Right now, you can barely get a decent 250GB SSD for that money.  | |

Back on topic: Computers and accessories are the only things I really pay attention to on Black Friday. I buy 99% of my stuff on Craigslist now but I won't buy used computer gear (just don't want to). Last year I picked up a $1400 laptop for $700 at NCIX. I want to get more SSDs as well as a good USB hub.

| With the state that NCIX is in right now, I really question what kind of position they're in to put up any sort of meaningful Black Friday sales. It's sad because I have generally been able to pick up at least an item or two during their BF/CM sales in the past.

Black Friday is generally a good time to buy major appliances. Usually, there's an additional 10-15% off on top of regular sale prices.
