Jesus 1100 is a friggin mortgage payment. Do people really pay that much to lease a car. I thought my sportwagen lease was expensive at 400 bucks tax in. I must be out of touch....

$1100 mortgage payment? That barely gets you a cardboard box under the port mann bridge...

Haha weren't you recently talking about your 25k oil change on your maserati?
We are (almost) all losing our money as fast as we can make it some way or another.

So cool... I've wondered how much it would be to import a vehicle from the Middle East to here... :considered:

Specifically a LHD Land Cruiser 70 Series... :fullofwin:

DeVidoRacing 02-26-2018 07:41 PM

Thanks guys!

Its a fully built B18 with liners, pistons, conrods, cams, racing head, etc etc. I'm looking to get a tune as soon as it gets here. Does anyone have any suggestions for good tuners in the lower mainland?

Its amazing, especially when I put a set of slick Hoosiers on it. Tein coilovers are magic when combined with polybushes everywhere.

Its not cheap, but worth it if you love the car and will keep it long term. It cost me about $3k for shipping BUT....I dont have to pay tax because I haven't lived in Canada for a while.

In hindsight, I should have brought ten cars with me....like evos, skylines, supras...and sold them to pay for my racing addiction!

Does Maserati still hand build cars? When I got a chance to sit in the new Maserati Ghibli, I was shocked at how much parts they share with other Dodge/Chrysler cars half the price.

SpeedStars 03-03-2018 11:46 AM

^ highly doubt it for lowly cars like the ghibli. The panel gaps on that thing are atrocious

tofu1413 03-03-2018 02:28 PM

our dealer had one traded in.

i sat in it and the interior isn't much better than a Dodge Dart.

I drove it around the block. I wanted 10 mins of my life back. It was pretty bad.

although the exhaust note sounds ok....
