How is it the police’s fault that the legal system has precedents, people have rights and we operate on an innocent until proven guilty basis? Would you suggest that they randomly enact discretionary measures on anyone's whim and detain people without due process or just cause?
I think not.
This case, the police did their job already, charged and gave warning. However it was the crown's decision to give her a chance. But some ppl never change. We can only wait what she'll do next
Buy her double pane windows and call it a day. If you plan to live in that house for a long time, you'll always be carrying that negative energy.
People pay for million dollar views... keeping your home environment sound has another value in it self.
your neighbour clearly has problems
taking the high road didn't work but stooping down to her level will only make things worse for your family if she has already demonstrated that she will resort to violence
is it past the point of reasoning? may be see if she has a son that visits. Try to get a sit-down with everyone.
It sucks you and your family have to deal with this bullshit, you would think people are more mature but I guess not. Police are useless when it comes to doing there job, they should have locked up the b!tch even if it was for few hours.
I think this happens when the person stays at home all day so she will be very sensitive to anything that will disturb her. I find asian mom's in general to be ultra sensitive to their surroundings (we had an asian neighbor who would stand outside her fence watching us when we were cutting down a tree that none of the debris would damage or hit her yard....)
I would just ignore her action, and go about with your routine.
