Props to Team Canada, especially the women for showing the toughness, hardwork, and dedication that is needed to excel in the Olympics!
Laurie Blouin sustained an injury, a cut on her face and a black eye, during a hard fall in training last Friday but sucks it up to get a silver medal with her performance in the slopestyle snowboard event.

there are a few articles going around now about the women calling out the organizers for making that slopestyle event go on with the winds what they were
both that and the half pipe were pretty sketchy when the winds kicked up

My brain can't comprehend men's halfpipe and it's only qualifying. The gap between the men and women is crazy. Chloe Kim got a 98.25 and wouldn't qualify for the olympics in the mens

fuck mens half pipe final is gonna be insaneeee, the fucking qualifying was ridiculous
hopefully riders put the pressure on White so he has to pull out all the stops, all the riders are so good though it's crazy

For a guy that's supposedly a god I would have expected him to podium in 2014...
