So, just because you are tired of Trump, you are willing to paint an image for his challenger as an saint when he's in fact no better, if not, far shadier than Trump?

Where is the fucking logic?

And really guys... don't expect Mikey to reply to those specific questions... he's too opportunistic for that. He'd only reply when the trend is in his favor. When trend is questioning about him, he won't reply until the trend is in his favor again. Because he needs to maintain the perfect pristine saint image that left guys like him are the most caring and compassionate person out there and if you are not a lefty like him... you are the complete opposite.

far shadier LOL!!!. trump supporters don't care how crooked trump is. trump even said he could shoot someone and people would still vote for him. Why do you hold Biden voters to a higher standard?

far shadier? that's a laugh dude. for someone who sometimes tries to paint himself as a centrist and not a trump supporter, you're really showing your bias now.

westopher 10-22-2020 11:51 AM

But hehe has no bias! Only the lefties! He’s the portrait of logic that only someone of his success can understand.

Hehe 10-22-2020 12:05 PM

I think I have made clear which side I choose.

The difference is that I explained why with a set of logic.

Lefties only logic? As long it’s not Trump.

That’s not how to select a leader rationally. It’s called blinded and dare I say, if this whole emailgate blows further, it’s going to be sad for the lefties to believe that their supreme leader is doing all these craps. :fuckthatshit:

Sure I'll respond to this. Let me start by saying Joe Biden has never been my first choice, so forcing me to come in here and cape for him just isn't realistic in my opinion. There is no doubt in my mind that Hunter Biden never deserved a spot as a high ranking position for a Ukrainian firm, you'll never hear me argue against that.

As I've said before, his name carries value, a foreign company will happily pay a person with a name tied to the Vice President of the US to represent them without a second thought. The same way you would never have heard of Willow or Jaden Smith if they weren't the children of Will.

The thing is I can see nuance to all of this. You've heard of the term the lesser of two evils, I see Joe Biden as the representation of just that. I don't see the world as simply black and white as welfare or Hehe do, who can't hold their supported candidate to the fire for his obvious and rampant corruption. This isn't a zero sum argument, if you follow both Trump and Joe Biden's careers, the obvious levels of corruption and criminality are quite apparent when viewing Trump's history.

Do I think Joe Biden and his family have benefited from his place in government? Of course. There is a reason why the average senator at the bottom end is at least a millionaire. You don't acquire that type of wealth through only civil service. To decry Biden, and yet ignore Trump's criminality is what I find disingenuous. Joe Biden has been a public figure for damn a half century, if this is the most dirt you can pull on him, that's pretty weak in my opinion.

Now in terms of this story specifically, I cannot lay any judgement yet. I require more information, and it does not help that the only news sources reporting this story are rightwing in nature, there is a clear bias. As more information comes out, I will be happy to provide more of an opinion.

To me though, this election represents more than this story, it's what Trump represents not only as a person, but to culture in general, and the insidious parts of our society that he provides breath to.

It sounds like this business partner will be going in front of the house representatives, so we'll see how this unfolds.

An e-mail to Hunter Biden's partner from a top Chinese official on July 26, 2017 shows the Chinese energy company CEFC proposed a $5 million "interest-free" loan to the Biden family "based on their trust on [Biden] family[.]"

https://twitter.com/seanmdav/status/...794753/photo/1

Less than two weeks later, on August 8, 2017, $5 million was wired from a CEFC-affiliated investment vehicle to a Delaware LLC, which spent the next year transfering nearly $4.8 million directly to Hunter Biden's firm, according to Senate investigators

-----------------

In a statement emailed to The Federalist and other news organizations, Tony Bobulinski, a former Biden partner, confirmed he was a recipient of an email published by the New York Post last week, dated May 13, 2017, showing Hunter Biden was offered a contract worth $3 million a year for “introductions alone.” The same email included an obscure note to setting aside 10 percent for “the big guy,” which Fox News reported was a reference for Joe Biden which has now been corroborated by Bobulinski.

“Hunter Biden called his dad ‘the Big Guy’ or ‘my Chairman,’ and frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on various potential deals that we were discussing,” wrote Bobulinsky, who was recruited to serve as the CEO of Sinohawk Holdings in partnership with the Chinese firm CEFC led by Ye Jianming by Hunter Biden.

A Senate report released last month revealed Ye and his associates held extensive ties with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Bobulinski also confirmed earlier New York Post reporting that Joe Biden had been lying when the Democratic candidate repeatedly denied having discussed business with his son, “or with anyone else.” Joe Biden even went as far as to fat-shame an Iowa voter for pressing the former vice president on the apparent conflicts of interest during a December town hall.

“I’ve seen Vice President Biden saying he never talked to Hunter about his business,” Bobulinski wrote. “I’ve seen firsthand that that’s not true, because it wasn’t just Hunter’s business, they said they were putting the Biden family name and its legacy on the line.”

Bobulinski continued, saying the Chinese were interested less in healthy financial returns on investment than they were “political or influence investment.”

Bobulinski said he had been contacted by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and the Senate Finance Committee Wednesday afternoon and intends to produce the requested documents “in the immediate future.”

This is the key quote here. A vote for Biden is a vote AGAINST Trump.

I'll post this video if people want to hear more of what "lefties" think of Biden (and specifically she talks about the ones that are so far left they won't even vote for him). It's long and sometimes cringy humor but give it a chance. Someone was posting Jimmy Dore videos too, and it's important to know that not all "lefties" are "radical" looking for a revolution or something like that. And I know not all right wing people are idiots and morons, although as of now, you can't be a Trump supporter without being an idiot or a moron. There's no argument for it. Wait and see if the GOP cleans up their act in 4 years.

"I want to vote for Biden as much as I want to re-tile my bathroom. But sometimes things become so toxic and dangerous, we have no choice but to get our hands dirty"

That's because he answers the question the first time.

trump claims he asked his accountants told him they pre-paid 10's of millions of dollars in taxes. 10's of millions of dollars left his bank account and he didn't know about it? Either he is lying or an idiot that does not know how to run a business.

Let’s collect rape allegations while we’re at it... you got 1 for Biden... how many does Trump have again? Wow only 25 of them since the 1970’s??? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dona...ct_allegations

FYI, if you want to read further on Biden's connection to China, there is a deep investigative report released yesterday by Christopher Balding, Associate Professor at Peking University HSBC School of Business Shenzhen, China and also Bloomberg contributor. I believe this is as unbiased as you can probably get. Even if you are supporting Biden as a lesser of two evils, which I have no qualms about, I think this is important to know.

https://www.baldingsworld.com/2020/1...es-with-china/

------------------------------------------

In Balding's intro: https://www.baldingsworld.com/2020/1...es-with-china/

First, I did not write the report and I am not responsible for the report. I have gone over the report with a fine tooth comb and can find nothing factually wrong with the report. Everything is cited and documented. Arguably the only weakness is that we do not have internal emails between Chinese players or the Chinese and Bidens that would make explicit what the links clearly imply.

Second, I will not be disclosing the individual who did write this report. They have very valid reasons to fear for both their personal safety and professional risks. Throughout the years that I have known this individual we never discussed politics. I have never heard them criticize any political party other than the CCP. They are not a Republican.

Third, it was my very real wish that the press would have reported on the documented evidence in this report and left me and the author entirely out of this situation. I did not vote for Trump in 2016 and will not vote for him in 2020. This information however is entirely valid public interest information that the press has simply refused to cover due to their own partisan wishes. I have serious policy differences with President Trump. I am pro-immigration. I would like to see more free trade efforts to shift trade away from China and into partner countries from Mexico to Vietnam and India. I believe that institution building in Asia is vital and America needs to take that lead. However, I cannot in good conscience allow documented evidence of the variety presented here go unreported by partisans who are simply choosing to hide information.

Balding's summary of the report
