Ah yes, a Youtube video. Much more credible than a Reddit thread.

You can't make this stuff up :lol

Hey I'm not the guy here who was trying to claim the high ground on my origins of information just a couple days ago.

Try and keep up.

Not sure if I'm a product of fear mongering but I honestly am feeling the vibe that post-election, the US will enter into a chaotic mess that we have never seen before. I mean damn ... even Walmart is preparing for it by pulling guns and bullets off their shelves.

Polls are pointing to a narrow Dem lead and if results are that Biden wins by a small margin, Trump and his supporters will drag this on through the courts challenging everything from mail-in ballots to fraud, etc. ... there will be major riots and protests ... it will be like a 2nd or 3rd world country until things settled.

Reading comprehension 101: I state that these projections and polls "mean absolutely nothing". They're speculation, not factual statistics.

The US hasn't been this divided since the Civil War, and in the era of misinformation, disinformation, "fake news" and all the political rhetoric putting any kind of weight in these things is a waste of your time.

Please explain to me how a senator from Delaware is supposed to "change the country"? That is literally impossible.

Sigh, again that's not what my post said. I meant as President he's not going to be the one to save the United States from its current circumstances and be some morale savior for people who hate about Trump. Biden is the same, just on the opposite side of the aisle with more experience. But to think one of the longest standing senators in the history of the country, and Vice President for eight years, had no ability to enact change is willful ignorance. In fact it's demonstrably false seeing as Biden wrote the Senate version of the legislation for the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 that made massive changes to federal law enforcement, penal system, court systems, et al.

4 Nov is going to be a wild day in the United States. I have a lot of friends and business contacts down there who are legitimately afraid of what may happen to the country. Walmart pulling its firearms off the selves now is laughable, there's been an ammo shortage across the US for months (and that's insane) and prices surged 3-400%.

If you're gonna place a bet on the election, who would you put the money on?

So tempted to put $50 on Trump winning because I think he is the underdog, and yet he'd still have a chance to win.

westopher 10-30-2020 11:33 AM

I’m thinking about putting a grand on trump. People don’t give Americans enough credit for how many of them have no fucking understanding of what’s going on.

StylinRed 10-30-2020 11:34 AM

I wouldn't throw my money away, are the odds even worth it?

Manic! 10-30-2020 12:24 PM

Look at the popular vote, republicans are at 5.75

SkinnyPupp 10-30-2020 02:10 PM

Alex Jones said Trump is winning, so it's pretty much a sure thing. Go get that money!

whitev70r 10-30-2020 03:09 PM

You can always bet on the one you don't want to win. Here's the thinking ... if the person you want to win (say Biden), you're happy so what if you lose $100. If Trump wins and you're pissed and shocked to hell, you'll get $250 back to console your anger and frustration. Win win.

westopher 10-30-2020 03:47 PM

That’s the only way I bet lol.

whitev70r 10-30-2020 03:52 PM

What the hell is with Nicklas and Orr? One is senile and the other's concussion is coming home to roost?

Very correct. I have a long rabbit hole I could go down with respect to firearms and why its so easy to get a gun in America.... but maybe this isn't the place for it. Just know that the online places where an AR-15 were only a few hundred bucks have easily tripled. A lot of people are preparing for the coming temper tantrums.

The gun store only a few clicks from me had bare shelves. No 556 or 223 AR-15 ammo at all.

I heard so much shit talking by Y'All Queda at gun shows right before the Clinton/Trump election about how "Obama iz gunna declare a state of uhmurguncy buhfor the elecshun and gunna take yer guns so stawk up now", but that's nothing compared to the rampant paranoia you see now.

People have taken to pressing their own ammo. Not a great thing to be doing if you're inexperienced.

To quote A Christmas Story: "You'll take your eye out with that thing"

underscore 10-30-2020 07:58 PM

With how often Americans panic buy guns and ammo I'm amazed that isn't just considered "normal sales" by now. Someone farts and people who have no clue how they work are now buying cases.

I'd trust the odds from a betting house way more than any polls
people are a lot more realistic when they have money on the line

Odds up 2.55

Fading you guys.
