Their projections have no standing, it is up to the states to certify their vote counts. That begins tomorrow (10 Nov) and each state has their own laws and timelines on how this process occurs in addition to recounts which are taking place in some battleground states. That's how the winner is legally determined. Joe Biden is not the President-Elect yet the media is just saying he is.
Given the highly polarized divide across the US I have no doubt there has been attempted fraud by voters at some level. Whether it's by trying to vote multiple times, registering a deceased person, forgery, or even the possibility of the supposed software glitches that happened: this is the bedrock of democracy. These votes, regardless of who they are for, need to be found and eliminated. If found processes and laws need to be updated to ensure the legitimacy of continued elections. Over 150 million Americans voted and if just 1/10th of a percent of those votes are illegitimate that's 150,000 votes! Given how close the races are in some states where the separation is only 12k in Georgia, 15k in Arizona, 45k in Pennsylvania etc this is a really big deal. I certainly wouldn't call it funny. What's scary about the clip you've posted is the arrogance and entitlement of some nobody news anchor dismissing this and proclaiming "We've called it" like her network gets to decide the winner. It is equally ignorant stupidity as Trump declaring "Stop the count!". | Please... Stop. Trump lost. If there are obvious cases of fraud, they'll find it. And fake videos you see on Tick Tock don't count. Also it's not a close enough race for even the most prevalent fraud in history to make a difference. It would have to be something along the lines of absolute cheating throughout the entire country, with millions of fake votes.
In hindsight, although Biden underperformed, the election wasn't even that close. He beat Trump way more easily than Trump beat Hilary. It wasn't one state that swung it either. It wasn't a landslide, but it wasn't close either, once all votes are counted.
You want to see close, go look at 2000, where it came down to Florida, which Bush won by 537 votes. You think GA is close at 12,000, and PA is close at 45,000. In 2000 Gore won NM by 366 votes. WI by 5700 votes. IA by 4000 votes.
It's not that close. Trump is just following the steps required to perform a coup. It was outlined in that video posted here a few days ago. Don't fall for it, you're not a fool. We joke about trumptards wanting to vote in a fascist "authoritarian" president ironically, but here they are actually literally supporting a takeover of the President of the United States. Like what??? |
