Fuck this shit. | Fruck you brack menz !!!! I don’t have a trash offspring. That’s a huge boon to society, the environment, Japanese whores, brothels with white bitches and global stability in general. If anything I should get compensation.
You’ll probably use the healthcare system more than me. I never visit the doctor (typical Chinese guy) and when I do, it’ll likely be too late and I’ll just die. I look forward to it ! Today’s a good day to die !!!

There’s a lot of things health wise I think should be adjusted tax wise.
I’d love to see restaurants be able to submit nutritional data and supplier lists to become tax exempt, and increase taxes on junk food and shitty sugary drinks and such. GST on raw ingredients is exempt and I think it should be on good quality prepared foods with primarily Canadian sourced ingredients as well. Not everyone can cook well or has time to and it would be nice to push a healthy food intake which would in turn benefit the healthcare system. Would be super hard to implement but there could be a basic formula to get started. Like tax the shit out of anything owned by coke and Pepsi conglomerates would probably cover 90% of the problem right there. All of the tax proceeds would go back into healthcare and fitness programs.
Tax rebates on money spent on activities would be good too like gym memberships as mentioned, ski passes, hockey team fees etc, at least for kids even. The last thing we want is for it to be so much cheaper to be unhealthy like in the US where poor families can only feed their kids kraft dinner and Burger King because it’s so much cheaper than vegetables.

as you said, anything in the grocery store that's raw ingredients (meats, vegetables, fresh baked bread, etc) is not taxed
I'll use your KD example, super processed microwave meals, all that shit, taxed like normal
you're taxing anyone anymore than they already are, we're just getting a little break by using raw/fresh ingredients and cooking ourselves.
Also agree all kids sports/activities should be tax free

Speaking of fast food taxes, I went to A&W yesterday and had a coupon because that's the only time I'll eat this slop. Plus that joke from a few days ago about 2 teens was stuck in my head.
Anyways, I expected to be able to pay with a Tenner because the pre-tax price was 9.49. GST was supposed to be less than 50cents but for some reason it was 61 cents. Did the province implement some extra fast food tax or did Kuljeet rip me off 10 cents? |

You were taxed on the original total, not the amount after the coupon, which I’m not honestly sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be.

That's not right either because 14.28*.05 = $0.71
I was charged $0.61

Can’t blame ScamJeet. He gets paid min wage and just punches in buttons. The franchisee is probably the one who programmed the shit to charge taxes on the pre discounted rate.

Yeah I can't blame Kuljeet, it was probably her boss Hamaancheet. Just doesn't make sense though as it's not the original price nor the discounted price.

Shows you for eating a so called superior burger that’s without articulating hormones, and grass fed beeerf.
You wouldn’t have gotten ripped off if you just ate regular cow anus from McDicks like a regular human being. Plus what kind of a Jew bag wouldn’t get their onion rings and take plain jane fries ?!?!?

Yeah that is weird as fuck. There’s no way that the dude at the till can do anything so that’s like someone programmed the wrong tax in.

Speaking of McDonalds they raised their price of a sundae from $2 to $3 this month. That's the last straw Ronald, 150% inflation is not cool you fucking clown.

It’s certainly changed over the last year. I have no data to back this up other than in my own restaurant, but alcohol consumption is probably down 50% this year over last. I think in a lot of instances it’s been replaced but not to that level with weed, mushrooms, and nicotine.

GenZ don't drink. They get their dopamine hit, entertainment, friendships, get laid all thru their phones.
Was at a work event with some of these fucks last week. I had 2 glasses of wine and a cocktail and it made me look like a raging alcoholic.
Still, everyone's cutting back. That's probably all I'll be drinking for the month of September.

And don’t forget their abuse of prescription drugs like Xanax.

speaking of mcdonalds, has anyone here tried a milkshake in the past few years?
its literally undrinkable with the soggy collapsing paper straw...the straw needs to be like bbt sized and if they want to make it paper then make it twice as thick. it was already hard enough to drink with the plastic straw.. its not even possible with the paper one.
