Make sure your insurance company knows you’re using the fireplace to heat. If you haven’t told them already and you have a claim they can void your policy.
It needs more oxygen for a clean burn... the few coals didnt even heat the copper but the garbage can was warm.
I dont want to really open up a bigger hole and getting a better fan blower might make this more of a foundry then an efficient wood gas burner.
Im thinking of just keeping it inside the van and venting it out of the sunroof but also keeping the van decently ventilated.
