^ you are right about it. Hongers (either protesters orpolice) are not experienced in this kind of events, they all believed in peaceful protest down the street (see those 8964 gatherings and all other protests) and go home. They were like level 1 compare to US level 99, think about if it is the same situation in the States, probably a lot of burned cars or looted shops or shooting everywhere.
You see Hong Kong police did drop their shields, low EQ, shooting randomly, threw tear gas to the press. Hong Kong protesters used umbrella, cried for help at the police station, yelling and shit. Now they are at level 2, sooner or later will smarten up.

Basically due to what happen to the China reporter in HK getting caught at the air port The movie and film assoication ban any movies/TV shows to do with Spy since is a too senstive matter. And Also to the 70th celebration for the CPR gov TV stations have to show TV shows that support the Chinese gov and spread the idea of love China. So all the regular TV shows are ban lol. Pretty sad and scary how the Gov of China control everything, people can't even watch the TV shows/movies they enjoy.

Hong Kong's golden era days of film in the 90s, there was literally no restriction on creativity. Hong Kong film nowadays is basically Chinese control propaganda. Everything has to fit within the current "restricted creative control"

I think China fuked up on his case because his family was transparent about his whole ordeal and the dude has a very clean past, so there was a lot of skepticism already from the public that he would purposefully go to China for a prostitute.
China used him as a pawn peace to place more propaganda to its citizen to hate on HKers and oversea expats. This was during the time when a lot of UK politicians were putting pressure and scrutinizing China.
Chances are, he's probably going to receive a notice from his bosses not to say anything or else he's going to get fired or not see a bright future with his job.
