Gonna need a couple of spinny hard drives to replace the ones that I have now. I think I just bought a 5TB one last year, and it's all filled up now? FailFish

Sorry man, but fuck Seagate. One of the worst mfg's for hard drives. I just had 1 portable and 1 external (but big) repaired by RESTORE Data Vancouver. It was $2500 for both to repair The most common hard drives that come in for repair, are Seagate branded ones. Never again.

I second this - fuck Seagate.

I know everyone's all WD vs Seagate and they all have their camps but my 15+ year experience with hard drives has been overwhelmingly pro WD.

Not BIG ticket but Ergo carriers are 20% off now at Tj Kiddies

https://www.tjskids.com/en/baby-carr...id=159&sort=7d

I haven't seen anything for big ticket items now but just always be on the look out, frequently throughout the year a lot of the car seat companies such as Britax or Clek etc will do their standard sale that applies at any store and are usually pretty good. Depending on when you need it just always be on the lookout and slowly accumulate what you need. Also if you're not on the Parents and Babies group on facebook get on it, great place for resource as well for sales and other things.

lol, knock on wood... none of my HDD's have ever failed on me before and I use every brand (it was a thing of mine to just try them all and not have duplicate brands). Over time I have replaced the smaller capacity ones, but I still have a couple dating back in like 2010 and I pretty much use my computer everyday.

Kind of scary.. lol.

But I do have stuff backed up.. on a Seagate. :lol

Slifer 11-01-2019 06:27 PM

When it comes to hard drives, I only use these. Completely professional grade but probably overkill. Can't say I've ever seen them on sale but I've never looked around Black Friday.

G-Technology is part of the WD family so I guess I'll be in that camp :troll:

+1 contract is coming up on Nov 23 with Bell. Send me a text saying I could upgrade to a S10 for free with a $100 credit catch is I have to switch to plan that's going to cost over $100. Not really a deal lol.

Thanks again, we're going to go tomorrow anyway!

Having been a father for 5 years now what I've learned and found interesting is the secondary market for baby/kids stuff is worse than cars. It's a complete buyers market so for those who don't mind used items you win big. I'm talking brand new retail strollers that go for $1000 having trouble sell for $200 even if it's in mint condition being the norm here. Low balls galore as well like no other.

Definitely! We don't mind used as long as hygiene and safety aren't an issue haha
