Rona has a bunch of stuff on clearance for 50% off, I picked up one of these little pressure washers: https://www.rona.ca/en/electric-pres...0-psi-09525002

It should be worth it since I spent $33.86 just pressure washing the mud off my Celica at the car wash after the Totem rally lol.

I got mine from Shoppers Drug Mart. $249.99 with three games. It was a "Spend your points" event. Biggest one of the year. Spend 130,000 points and get an extra $70.00.

I had nearly 900.00 worth of points. Total cost without points ended up being $80.00 out of pocket.

Collect points on 20X points events, then use it on spend your points event. win/win........ "Shop Like a Mother!" LOL.

hory crap, youre buying too much makeup. no one has 900k of points

The guy next to me in the lineup had 150 k in points. I used to get a shit load more when PC Banking was still doing their thing. Now that it's Simplii, nothing.

I get 3% back in points for using the PC World Elite Mastercard. It now works at Shoppers, Superstore, No Frills, Independent, and a few other places Loblaws owns. Not sure about T&T, even though they are owned by Loblaws.

For restaurants, I use the Costco Mastercard and get 3% back.

My Canadian Tire Triangle World Elite Mastercard gets me 3% on groceries and 4% at CT owned places, like Mark's, Sport Chek, Atmosphere, Party City, and a whole slew of eastern-based retail stores. Sometimes, CT has products on sale with 10, 25, 50 times CT Money. That's when you rack up the money. Like Shoppers when they have their 20X points event for buying 50 - 75 bucks in merchandise.

It's hard trying to remember which card to use and where. For example, Fujiya is not classified as a grocery store. It's considered a restaurant. I never use my Costco Mastercard for anything other than restaurants. They only give you 0.5% everywhere else. FFS, not even 1% at their own warehouses (0.8%) until you spend some dumb amount per year (and it resets after a year). Oh, CT cards don't get you anything at two places. Costco and Walmart.............. no idea why. At least the PC and Triangle World Elite Mastercards give you 1% everywhere else.

BTW, the only time I've ever bought anything to do with beauty products, was to buy clear nail polish to keep dumbass kids from trying to remove the decals on my cars' windows.

Anyway, carry on carrying on.

if you do weekly grocery runs, it's not hard to accumulate that amount..
I currently have ~200-250k points and I've cashed out twice already this year.
There are also 20x-30x point events that goes on several times throughout the year, so you just gotta look out for those.

Also PC points if the weekly deals align you make a killing. Today took advantage of their cyber Monday along with my regular weekly deals, spent just over $200 and got over $50 back in points. If I had manged to get to $300 I would have gotten almost $90 back

What does Welfare think of this? Why hasn't he given the conservative ideological view yet?

I just bought a pair of Blundstones for work. It’s a good enough deal that I should go grab a pair but on dat holiday budget lol

Also I’m somewhat hesitant to give Dayton anymore of my money, it’s a place I really want to love but fuck do they make it hard sometimes. I had a bit of a headache with my Service boots in nubuck from them, then my wife bought 2 pairs of boots from them and had a few issues with service related stuff and THEN I ordered a belt from them as a gift and it ended up being completely wrong..

Like I said, I want to love the place but they have been making it hard for me

It is expired - see thread here: [Amazon Canada] NEST Thermostat EVEN LOWER Now $202 less discount ($102 in BC) - RedFlagDeals.com Forums

The Nest 3rd gen went down to $202, and then $100 off from Fortis, so $102+tax. I attached a snip of my order. Ignore the Lego lol.

Those Bluntstones will not last you 6 months as a workboot! The soles are crap, this company makes mediocre products now, when compared to over ten years ago.

Dayton boots has new owners now,and service has gotten much better than what it was previously,or they might have fired the staff members who were making them look bad and hired people who actually care about customer service.

Since you and your wife had issues that were not dealt with in a proper and satisfactory manner, don't send a email or call them,go right into the store during peak hours and raise your concerns.By doing this, they cannot come up with excuses in front of potential customers ready to drop huge coin on their boots.

Yea I work as a technician so my boots don’t get hammered as much as they once did when I was in construction, but prior to this pair of blundstones I had a pair of slip on red wing steel toes, those red wings at 2 years old still look better than my 6 month old blundstones lol.

I need to get my service boots re-soled so I’ll be going into Dayton shortly, I was hoping they were gonna have a gift card promo so I could cash in on that for the new soles.

I received a pair of Blunstones as a gift over 10 years ago(this is when their boots are of higher quality than the current ones),wore them just to walk the dogs and they lasted one summer! These were the steel toe models too! The soles started to come apart, chunks were falling off them. The leather was in great condition, but I was bummed to find out they could not be re-soled.This brand is overrated and cost more than what they are worth.Nothing beats Vibram soles, there is a reason why the best boot makers in the world use them.

Redwing make good quality boots, but I had to support the local business and purchased Dayton's.This is my fourth pair too.

Any idea if this is still on? That's a good deal at first glance.

It should be still on today. They close at 9 P.M. I would call and find out.

On another note, I order a monitor frem best buy of Friday and now got an e-mail that my order has been canceled. I called in and they said the item has been discontinued. The monitor was just released on October 1st. Something seems fishy.

68style 12-02-2019 05:39 PM

^ I reserved something for store pickup from Best Buy and then they emailed me later the same day and said it's out of stock and order it online or go to a different store..... it still shows in stock at the store I ordered it from. Super shady.
