Where would be the best place to look for deals on snowboards?

Mr.HappySilp 11-07-2019 10:46 AM

Have anyone uses Mysa thermostat for electric baseboard. Currently BC hydro is offering $40 off https://getmysa.com/bc-rebates?utm_s...LA71I0BjCA4FWk

Not really sure if I should get it since my wife and I don't turn the baseboard on much. We have those space heaters that we turn on when we are cold and usually is on for only 30mins lish so using the baseboard takes way too long to heat up the place.

Been using it for a year, I have 5 of them. Works great!

Not sure if BF related, but Farfetch is having 22% off anything regular price using code "22off"

I've wanted a luggage case for the longest time that NONE of the coupon ever worked as it's always excluded and it NEVER goes on sale. (I've been using a monitor to track it for almost a year already)Today it worked! So it really meant anything.

looking for mattresses for black friday if anyone knows.

Went to Best Buy Bellingham to pick up a 8tb WD drive to shuck... ended up walking away with 2x 10tb.. it was $159 USD... weird thing was, the 8tb was the same price so the 10tb was a no brainer... got dinged $50 at the border though but it's still worth it.

If anyone wants to consider a new phone and wants to look at OnePlus, both OnePlus 7 Pro and 7T are about $200 off their regular price through their official website as their BF deal. 7 Pro is $739 right now, which is a steal for a phone like that.

I have my 7 Pro for a month now, and I quite like it. I should have waited a little more, but oh well.

I was going to suggest this too! I bought one yesterday and it's arriving tomorrow (nebula blue). The wait time is now 8 days for that color. Definitely a steal for what it offers.

Sorry man, but fuck Seagate. One of the worst mfg's for hard drives. I just had 1 portable and 1 external (but big) repaired by RESTORE Data Vancouver. It was $2500 for both to repair The most common hard drives that come in for repair, are Seagate branded ones. Never again.

Huawei 4 life !!!!!

I kind of answered my own question. Went to superstore last night with the wife and they have the Black Friday promotion for iPhone 11. 55 bucks a month, 5 gig, unlimited everything else, Fido carrier. iPhone 11 price is 550 including taxes. If you trade in your old iPhone (in her case the iPhone X) then you get 450 minus the 550. So basically 100 bucks for her new iPhone 11.

Not really that good of a deal but it’s just one of the deals out there.

Hope you will like it as much as I do.

Mine is an Almond since I like light-coloured phones. Usually I get a white/silver one, but Almond is growing on me a lot.

I never know which Xiaomi to pick as it seems kinda confusing to me. OnePlus and Huawei's choices are a bit easier to understand for me. Also, I have read that Xiaomi phones don't necessarily work well here since their signal bands don't include a lot of the Canadian ones. Too much hassle to import one, too, probably with no warranties. Good prices, though.

I wanted to get a P30 Pro but Huawei's situation with Android is worrying me. Not sure how much more Android support Huawei will get.

OnePlus has a better screen(90Hz and no notch on the 7 Pro), price and OS(I like Oxygen OS more than I did EMUI on my Mate 9) while P30 Pro has better cameras, IP water resistance, wireless charging and a bigger battery. All depends on your priorities.

PiuYi 11-19-2019 10:26 PM

7T is still showing $799, anyone know what the regular price is?

*nvm, sale is just for 7 pro and 6T

Seagate has been garbage for a while. They started getting worse when they acquired Maxtor and then really started sucking after acquiring Samsung’s HDD division. Prior to that they were really solid.

I got 5 of them, was lucky enough to get it at pre-launch so got a killer deal. I think it was something like 5 of them for 170 or so.

There were some minor issues (manufacturing) with a couple of them but was remedied right away. Their customer service is amazingly responsive!

Almost 2 years now, and they work great, no complaints. We don't usually have the heat on anyways, but its great to set timers for the morning in the washroom to make it warm, and also I programmed it so that every night at 11:30PM it turns them all down, so incase i forget to turn one down it happens automatically. I hooked it up to my smart home system as well.

Easy to install by yourself too, if you have some basic electrical skills... don't forget to turn off the breaker.

there was a time period with certain size seagate drives that they were extremely unreliable... we're talking double digit failure rates within a few years, but these days are gone.. generally even after 3-5 years, drive failure rate is under 2%, even for seagate.

For anyone with an RBC credit card, or RBC AVION card, they briefly had a 25-30% off reward point sale for black friday which im hoping is going to come back for the actual black friday

$250 Bestbuy gift card was 26,000 points during the sale, where as it's now 35,000 points. It's not really the best value in terms of point exchange but i want to use up my points and cancel my Avion so i'm really hoping it comes back on friday.

They also have a pretty killer ipad deal on right now, where if you exchange x amount of points you get like 35% off essentially on most ipads, check it out with your RBC rewards login if you use it.

If anybody wants to max out their points per dollar. When they have a 30% bonus points for British Airways. It works out to be 1.3c/point.
