For anyone who cares about cherry blossom photos but doesn’t wanna get infected by COVID-19 from the crowds at Garry Point Park, or have to go at like 6am, YVR’s South (regional) Terminal parking lot is completely empty, with a decent amount of trees, albeit a lot younger/smaller, but the same species (not the hot pink ones, the proper pale pink ones). |

(there were way faster people than us... passing us on double yellow as if we were standing still, i kept my car within 2nd and 3rd gear...3rd gear tops out at abt 115-120kph, super short gears I know lol) we went over a crest, saw RCMP and cop in high-vis, my heart sank (I was leading)... the cop did NOT wave me down, instead he just did the downward pump (slow down gesture), and actaully gave me a thumb up as I crawed past him.... what a cool cop! |
lucky, Lillooet RCMP gave me a ticket for 60 in 50 zone based on visual |

Sweet Cabriolet. My parents had an 88, but the engine and electrical were craptacular. The best case scenario is if the engine started lol |
went to squamish to pick up some summers for the impreza and on the way back, RCMP with radar close to lions bay... traffic was probably 20-30 over and they were just standing there watching traffic go by... guess they were really out to catch the excessive guys. tons of bikes and various cars on the S2S today. beautiful day for a drive. |
