J.

E91 and manual only came in euro 330d but no manual for 335d. I think it was said there wasn’t a reliable manual to handle the torque back then if someone tuned it. Maybe the E39 M5 transmission was too big to fit in an E9x chassis. [emoji2371]

Speaking of manual E91s...

Finally got my custom plates on. Gonna have to pay another 10+ years of license fees to transfer to my daughter when she gets her license! Lets hope she keeps the JDM spirit and not just stay with her euros.

Haha your car is kinda what inspired me to keep modding even after having a baby. We'll set something up down the road, shes still keeping us up all night.

I’m a spoiled brat, my wife deals with the nap times. She got him addicted to boob so i couldn’t put him to sleep if my life depended on it =_=

It's actually a TJ cut in half and frame and body stretched 15" to LJ length but longer wheelbase.
On F350 axles and 40s now and custom everything. But ya an LJ Rubicon is the Holy grail of jeeps. Mines a wee but passed that now tho lol

KW HAS. I bought it used from a guy who was running them on a SQ5. But since my car has pasm and these springs were not meant for it (which i wasnt aware of) i might have to uninstall them and buy something else.. its throwing error lights for the suspension time to time and i cant stand the ghetto-ness. Also the pasm is useless now

I guess it's too late now that you had to (unfortunately) learn the hard way, but whenever you go shopping for suspension goodies in the future, most manufacturers will specifically call out whether it is compatible with PASM or not. If in doubt, call/e-mail the manufacturer to clarify. I recall when PASM was introduced, a lot of owners bought suspension only to learn after the fact that it kills it. It was only when manufacturers were calling out compatibility when they realized they were getting a lot of returns and angry / threatening e-mails. haha

New wheels. Pretty much mandatory as the stockers are fugly.

4runner looks great! Love those wheels but the matt finish makes them a pain to clean. Worth it since they look amazing! I think you can go 275 70 17 with no rubbing on the 4runner.

Thanks! yea, the wheels get pretty grey if you're not on top of washing regularly. I plan to wear out the stock tires and then consider 285's with some sort of lift. There are TSS issues with lifting and conflicting info so best to stay stock for a bit until something more concrete becomes available.
