Sold my garage queen E30 to make room for this one. Have owned the M3 for about 3 months now and haven't used a full tank yet lol.

I have put about 2,000 KM on the lift. I wish I went with the softer OME springs. I noticed I am not getting as much articulation before it rebounds back, making a very stiff ride off road. However, pros are I get a higher lift and do not sag as much when fully loaded. Also handles GREAT on-road, so the ride home on the twisty hwys are not as boat like.

First time owning KO2's as well, they air down great and have a very stiff side wall. For FSR's I run 20 PSI, when entering trails I run as low as 12 PSI. I have confidence that they will last a long time and can take a beating. But man are they heavy tires lol.

Did North America ever get non-xDrive wagons? I'm seriously considering switching over from my E93 when I get bored of it, to an LCI E91, can swap everything over :fullofwin:

Only the US got the RWD LCI E91.

Posting currently on the Mackenzie Beach waiting out a rain storm.

Wanted to go camping for my birthday so I setted out to Vancouver Island. Oh man this place is beautiful. Started up as far North as I could and slowly made my way south. Didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked in the north, heavy rainfall and being 120km+ in an FSR with risk of washouts and floods.

Anyways ended up down in Tofino and scored a beach spot.

block heater next to the light bar?

dared3vil0 10-27-2020 09:06 PM

^ Block heater is tucked away behind the license plate, the black thing sticking out is one of the tow hooks.

Dug out the real camera for once. Always wanted a fall shoot, missed the sun by 10 minutes. Ah well, still happy.

Were you in North Van on the low level road Sunday?

hud 91gt 11-02-2020 08:32 PM

Not me, but there is another orange one with the same wheels in gunmetal and a black air dam in town.

westopher 11-02-2020 08:42 PM

Saw the other one then. Lots of nice cars cruising by sitting on the patio at beere, and it was definitely the most eye catching.

twitchyzero 11-02-2020 09:04 PM

is the chrome bumper bar factory?

They are called “over riders.” Although they were available from the dealer, I don’t know if they were technically a factory item. Kind of like the 4 slot wheels. Available from the dealer, but all aftermarket.

I hated the overriders originally, but they keep my car a little different. From the mild clean lines I go for, they add just a bit of classic spice.

Did a deep clean, claybar, and 2 coats of Turtle Wax Ceramic spray all over the car; wheels windows and all. Hope it'll last awhile before I have to do it again!
