I'm actually genuinely interested in this. In my mind, the E91 is the perfect daily.

The costs are pretty astronomical for the conversion though, even just for the body panels alone (grafting on the E90 rear fenders, rear bumper, hood latch, front bar etc.

The E9X interior doesn't have a "wow" factor but I think the non-idrive, black leather interior has aged nicely. I had a E90 sedan until 2017 and the interior was simple, easy to maintain and didn't rather/squeak as much as my older E46.

That said, I do love the older interior smell of a E46's. must have been the leather or glue. :dead:

My brother has a modified E90 335d and it smells like crayons just like MKIV VW's used to. Yummy. Best smell ever.

335d is also quite possibly the funnest car to drive when modded. 600lb/ft is insanely fun.

A friend of mine did the photo set for that FCP feature on the 335d. @danpajerski on IG if anyone wants to see a lot of rad stuff from him. I have an e30 m3 print framed on my living room wall from him if that’s any indication of how awesome he is. Even got the wife to allow car decor which she swore she never would.

335d is baüs. I’ve driven one with full deletes and Malone 2.9 tune. It’s a sleeping monster with an 11.3 quarter mile. Very pedestrian to drive normally but once you open her up, she keeps pulling harder than a freight train. In fourth gear you think she’s going to run out of breath but no....acceleration gets stronger as the tune opens up the power more and just blows minds. No way many stock ///Ms are keeping up unless they are tuned and if they are they won’t be giving you 40MPG / 5.8L/100km at the same time. [emoji23] And no, a properly tuned diesel will not roll black coal like a Cummins powered truck.

I have a few friends with 335d or 535d. With simple bolt ons/tunes they’re stupid fast

Very hard to get a deal on Tacoma's right now as they're are pretty much sold out in the lower mainland.

The new colour for the 2021 is Lunar Rock, I kind of like it.
