What's with all these TV and radio personalities becoming BC politicians? We have Taggart, Randene Neill, Jas Johal...I'm sure more I forgot. What gives these people qualifications to lead people? Reading the news in front of the camera?

Allll these news anchor / journalists who are let-go end up with government positions or crown corps. It helps because they were never critical against the govt during their years of reporting so it comes back to help them in big (or gross) ways.

FYI - Costco currently has Duracell CR2032 button batteries on sale for $14'ish dollars for a 12 pack. Not a bad deal considering they often cost much more than that! Great time to replace any remote controls and household appliances that use these batteries.

Ditto. The Amazon Basics ones are not bad. I've had them last quite a while but regularly priced, they are not competitive.
We had to replace four batteries for our Apple AirTags and one for our garage door remote control, so this was perfect timing.

"insider" information on the local media / newscaster scene. There was a hot news journalist a number of years ago that I used to hook up with before she got married (but maybe when she was dating him? Who knows!)
Also I dated two other local journalist babes, they all hang out in the same circles. They all have university degrees and are connected one way or another. They often date politicians or even hook up with them.
Think of journalism as the rookie-leagues of learning how to manipulate your audience. A lot of women who get communications degrees, once they get beyond the initial joy of using the word "dichotomy", get disillusioned with their own degrees when they realize that their best path to a successful life is to get into government to uphold whatever narrative they need to!
So many babes who aren't cut out for journalism end up working in the film industry... A good example is someone like Rachel Gilmore. She's doing decent on X with her following, good on her!

Yea pretty crazy deal on the quiet comforts, albeit those are based on the old ass QC35’s now compared to their newer lines. But for that price I would t hesitate, been using my QC35’s heavy for years without issue.
I copped the Era 100’s. Better deal than anywhere else at that price. Was going to go with the Era 300’s for my rears but once I got the Arc Ultra home it was already almost too much lol. Pretty happy with the 100’s as the surrounds

ive had my QC35s for like maybe 8 years now? got them for free when my parents bought a mazda in 2017. only thing is i dont really like over the ear headphones, gets too sweaty especially in the warm months. i have no idea how some people run with over the ear headphones on.
