Half ass venues don’t do live events any justice, that’s why you see so much investment into NFL stadiums, Las Vegas sphere, etc. they are creating environments people want to go to Even rogers arena has gotten quite a bit better in the last 10 years or so, and once they replace the seats etc. next year should be a big step up There is no experience that’s equivalent to a big live sporting event |
Having said that, some performers prefer the opposite. Smaller venues to be more connected to the audience. To be fair, her type of concerts are a different ball of wax. It'd be good for her to, once in a while, perform in a small, less significant venues like the one here in the "village" of Vancouver. |

Trying to fathom 90 trailers heading to downtown. Border crossing............. Border Agent: So what are these for? Where are you going? How much cash do you have? Taylor Swift....... who's that? All kidding aside. I'm sure they'll be rolling in at 3:00 am or something like that. With police escort and all. My limited entertainment budget will give me a shot at filming the trucks rolling in, jbol. BTW, I'm not a Swiftie. |

Love her stance on politics too and despite the media playing up her romances to make her out to be a hoe she's a great role model for girls. She fights for LGBTQ rights when she's from a conservative home state knowing she's get pushback and even lose some fans. I'd go see her live if I had the chance and I'd go see Adele and Beyonce live too, they're all great entertainers. |

With a 265-person crew and 90 trucks transporting 1,350 tons of production equipment across the continent, the band tours until the end of August, performing in sold-out stadiums. Check out the cable setup. I believe the have there own power. Multiple generators. https://www.facebook.com/reel/352495807238037 |
I pray, in a secular way, that she doesn't end up like a lot of performers. Dead or assassinated, or drowning in drugs and whatnot. She seems to be very well balanced and down to earth. Fans and media need to give her space. She must be surrounded with decent people. Not like Elvis and whatshisnuts, Colonel Sanders. I'm glad she did the Taylor's Version thing. Took charge of her music. Fuck those leeches. I get good vibes from her. Not like Oprah or Tony Robbins, lol. Britney Spears............ nuff said. |

She’s smart, I’ll give her that. She will sell out, but you won’t find me within a cities reach. Wouldn’t dare be near those groupies. Lol!… and I’m with MG1 on the looks. Lol. |
pay some money for this B to sing songs for you? |
Legit, my mother in law ( big time C-Lai) called my wife and told her that she wanted Taylor Swift tickets and asked her to ask me to get her tickets. She doesn't even know who taylor swift is or any of her songs, but her other C-Lai friends were talking about it and now my MIL wants tickets because of clout. I told me wife that if I get tickets, i'm selling them to the highest bidder. |

after this thread i listened to her latest album 'midnights' yesterday. it was just ok for me... there were a few tunes stuck in my head but overall i found it to be pretty average. maybe like 7/10 on the first listen. |

And it's also interesting that some of you think she's HOT. I would say she's pretty average looking for a white girl and she doesn't have a nice rack or big booty or anything. Her personality is a 10 though, at least from the interviews I have seen. |
she's good looking but she mainly has a really good makeup artist. other than that she's pretty tall with long legs. |
I think the fact that Taylor doesn't rely on gimmicks, like fake boobs, butt lifts or overly done makeup, is a big part of her appeal. Her look is attainable for your typical basic suburban person. She also sings about relationships and drama, which of course strikes a chord. |

They had two copies of that stage that would leapfrog each other between venues because the setup takes so long. So it was 40 trucks per stage setup + 10 of instruments and stuff that was quick to go to every show. If she's using all 90 at each show that's an impressive amount of gear. |
shes gonna be dolly parton 2.0 |
Look at this - a bunch of 40 something men talking about Taylor Swift. That's she's even on our radar as a thing to talk about speaks to how big a phenomenon she is. She's basically the modern day Beatles or Michael Jackson. |
^^ lol. Hard to avoid, when you got media, and radio stations shoving her name down our throats. The other day I was listening to 94.5, they were playing one her songs, then I switch to 95.3 and they were playing her other songs. I just turned the radio off. |

The media exposure on Swift is magnified like 10X when she is dating that Kansas City Chiefs football player Travis Kelce. I cannot imagine how much paparazzi are following them, hiding behind trees, bushes, just to take pictures of Taylor and Travis on dates haha. Every time the NFL has Chiefs games broadcast on Sundays, if Taylor is at one of the Chiefs' home games to watch her man play ball, one of the camera operators pans the camera to get video of Taylor cheering on Travis in the player's suite hahaah. The NFL is shoving Taylor down the throats of many football fans every time the Chiefs play a home game in my opinion. I'm getting so sick of hearing celebrity hashtags for those two. #Traylor? Maybe #Traylor is appropriate if their relationship breaks up one day. #Traylor becomes Trailer trash hahah. More inspiration for Swift to write another one of her heartbreak songs. Travis Kelce might be an entire new album for Taylor one day. LUL |

Travis Kelce at a press conference today. |
I'm really curious how much tickets would sell for, if I some how score 2 x $500 tickets from ticket master how much profit could I make? |

But whatever, celebs and athletes are going to have weird relationships, and many probably involve business transactions. Good for them, they both just made a lot of money by dating or whatever they're doing, and fans love them and they aren't harming anyone. |
if they are $500 face value they are probably like right up front, so maybe x5 or x10? most ppl are gonna get $100 tickets and scalp them for $400 or so im sure. someone told me its a 1/400 chance to get presale, so i wouldnt hold my breath |
