Hold onto your hats. This is going to get crazy boys.

If you ever wanted a Golden Ticket, this one would be it.

68style 11-02-2023 08:37 AM

I couldn't possibly be more sick of someone I don't even know than I am of Taylor Swift.

Hard pass, even if it was a money making opportunity lol

teggy604 11-02-2023 08:56 AM

What a great way to milk the fans. Vancouver fans always wondered why she didn't announce Vancouver as one of her destinations early on. So the fans had to fly to Toronto or LA, or Seattle to see her. Now she coming to Vancouver lol.

murd0c 11-02-2023 09:00 AM

I signed up just so I could hopefully make some money lmao

whitev70r 11-02-2023 09:03 AM

Just watch the movie, cheaper, better camera angles, any ticket you can afford, you'd probably be watching her on the big screen anyhow.

Badhobz 11-02-2023 09:50 AM

She’s hot. Her singing is whatever. Would pay to see her in a skanky outfit

Hondaracer 11-02-2023 10:01 AM

There isn’t an act in history that could sell out 3 consecutive shows at BC place

Even the Beatles in their prime probably couldn’t have garnered that type of draw

Do you honestly believe that was her intention? What would be the purpose of doing that? You think the only reason why she sold out her tour was because Canadians bought all the tickets to her shows?

I'm surprised she even wants to come to an arena as small as BC place... 50,000 is probably one of the smallest venus on her tour. She could easily fill 100,000 arenas in the states

The way I look at it she feels bad and she's doing her Canadian fans a favour. She's losing money coming to Canada. Three shows that's 150,000 less tickets she could sell if she just stayed in the states.

And she will sell out all 3 shows easy, people are going to be coming from around North America to see her now just local.

Bender Unit 11-02-2023 10:19 AM

It will be Sold Out.
If you don't know Vancouver.

Scalpers will Sold Out all 3 Shows 100%

You'd be surprised at how celebs look like without their stage makeup...

Edit: I do like tall women though :)

Really?

Not judging you, but she ain't all that pretty........... definitely not beautiful or stunning. Hot? That's debatable.

To each their own, I say.

I'm not a Swiftie by any means, but I just got back from Bellingham with a special edition 1989 Taylor's Version 2 LP set. Tangerine one. Only available at Target and sold only in the US. Extra bonus tracks from her "vault," included.

BTW, just messin' with ya, Kirkland.................

Manic! 11-02-2023 12:25 PM

Ed Sheeran set the record with 65k at BC place. I think she will have no problem breaking that.

https://bc.ctvnews.ca/over-65-000-fa...cord-1.6546801

Her tour has 90 semi trucks that go to each show loaded with equipment. She gave all her drivers a 100k bonus.

No wonder that generation and the generations that follow are becoming more and more entitled...

Gerbs 11-02-2023 02:35 PM

Everyone I know is prepped and ready to drop $400 - 600/ticket. No different than EDC / Coachella tixs.

Yep. People who think that these shows won't sell out underestimate Swift's popularity.

Sure, there are some parents who are complaining about ticket prices, but just as many well-to-do parents will be shelling out thousands of dollars to take their kids.

Hehe 11-02-2023 03:26 PM

Wife got tix to the Toronto show and was going there to watch the show and visit friends.

I guess now the plan is try to get the Vancouver one and sell the TO show to fund the local show. :fuckthatshit:

She sold out 6 dates at Wembley Stadium... That's like half a million tickets

3 dates at BC Place will be easy

I have no idea about any of her music (I'm sure I've heard it on commercials and what not) but the whole spectacle of Taylor Swift has been.. fascinating? In an era where there's so many types of distraction/entertainment, people are going nuts for this pop star like we probably haven't seen since Michael Jackson. Only bigger (and bigger than the Beatles too).

People won't be able to afford their mortgage payments next year when they renew but they'll be going to see TayTay

Buddy in the group chat just told me he's living pay cheque to pay cheque right now.

His BMW lease is $700/month and he has about 15k of credit card debt. $2, 200 in rent.

He said he's waiting on an icbc settlement. He's one of the last few on the old rules. He said he's expecting $50k and once he gets that his life will be reset...

I have a strong feeling he's going to blow through that settlement within the year.

Just last month he bought $350 shoes... Knowing his situation now I'm just shaking my head at this past year of dumb shit he's been buying.

I will never publicly say I'm a Swiftie, but she is popular for a reason. Writes and sings her own music and sings from the heart. She also works hard for the money (and fame). <---Donna Summer reference. Everything works for her. Her recent thing with the NFL player............... more inspiration for love and heartbreak songs.

Anyway, I like her music. And, like Kirkland alluded to, not bad on the eyes. Dare I say, girl next door look? Nah, that's stretching it.

lol, that's kind of how I feel about any live event... Got me at cheaper and better camera angles.

Plus, I'm at that stage in my life where I enjoy being at home and hate standing beside strangers. Especially when the strangers are loud and excited..

I remember going to my first hockey game.

It was so hard to see what was going on and without any play-by-play it was hard to follow. For some reason I thought the commentary would be playing through the stadium speakers, lol.

But damn, when we scored a goal it was a feeling that you could never experience in front of your TV.
