Miller sounding like he's back to his old self in post game interview. 6-40-9 were on powerplay together. Hopefully this is the turn around....

I think that its gonna be quiet on the trade front as long as the team strings more wins together. Elliotte Friedman can shut his mouth until the March 7th trade deadline haha.
February is a huge month for this team.
Can this team turn their season around? -gonna be a very interesting second half of the season for our Canucks.

Fuck bombshell interview with Rutherford and Gary Mason
Don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone be that honest as a GM besides maybe Burke.
It’s behind a paywall I think but essentially said we aren’t winning with this core and a rebuild means Hughes is gone, so they need to do anything in their power to keep him here forever

The radio was speculating this is a shot across at Aquilini as Gary Mason isn’t really a sports reporter but apparently has the respect of Francesco
More and more seems to be coming out about Peteys work ethic and I can’t remember if it was Toch or who but recently even someone says he was getting “better” at his work ethic
Like the guy is soft as fuck and his work ethic is why Millers after him? I feel like he isn’t really a player like the Sedins that just played their game in spite of the physical play. If Petey is played heavy in the playoffs he’s completely irrelevant. Dunno if that’s something that will ever change given his demenor

It's not a matter of IF Miller or Petey get traded. It is when either player will be traded this year.
If other GMs in the league know that the Canucks are going to trade either player in order to resolve the rift between Miller and Petey, Allvin would have less leverage in trade talks. GMs know that the Canucks have to trade either player.
Other GMs are gonna start off with lowball offers to the Canucks in order to trade for Petey or Miller. 
I am a bit puzzled about why Rutherford chose to be so forthcoming to talk about the rift in public.

So that’s what the radio brought up but they basically said it’s not like that wasn’t common knowledge that that rift was in the room
I guess the only thing he really solidified is that it’s inconsolable. But I don’t think it really changes that much.

They wanted to use Utah Yetis, but somehow there's a company that owns the trademark preventing them from use it even though they are like a cooler company (as in to put your beer in when going camping) not a sports team.
