I think that "Cifu" is a shortened version of the Hispanic name Cifuentes.

Plenty of Hispanics of Florida. I asked some of my Spanish speaking cousins, my Primas, about the name Cifuentes.

Cifuentes means "100 springs". -got my Spanish lesson for the day from one Prima.

Cifuentes: -derived from Spanish words Cien (hundred) and Fuentes (springs). Cifu/Cifuentes means "100 springs".

So Foote is the Canucks new head coach and Tocc is Phillys. All I know is if Hughes is happy with Foote being the man I'm happy with it. Good call for the Canucks announcing the hire at the same time so it distracts the fan base from Tocc leaving.

I think going with Foote is a good choice in the interim! Familiar with system, cup winning defenseman and also not someone you could consider is "old boy's club".

Hoping Manny stays with Abby and waits in the wings in case things don't work out with Foote. He's done an amazing job in Abby, definitely deserves a look as head coach in the future.

Foote is a terrible pick, he was a brutal WHL coach in Kelowna who literally got fired from the team part way through the season when they were hosting the Memorial Cup… I have no problem with him as the D core coach but Head Coach? Fucckkkkkkkk
