I didn't bother watching the race - slept in instead as Abu Dhabi is always such a snoozer.

Happy for Lando but he's also the most underwhelming champion since Button in 2009 - we've been so spoiled with elite winners since them (Vettel, Hamilton, Rosberg, Verstappen). In the last 40 years only Hill and JV are weaker winners than him (Maybe Mansell too). Time will tell if he's more worthy than any of them - my bet is no.

Stellar season by Max - if he was in the McLaren he would have wrapped up the title 4-5 races ago.

I hope the new generation of cars are better to drive - these ground effect are were a bit of a failure. Way too finicky to drive and too difficult to pass.

Yeah good for Lando. He made a good comeback after being down on Piastri mid-season. I thought Piastri was going to take it at that point. I'm glad that it went down to the last race and was close. Would have been more exciting if whoever was going to win the championship actually had to place highest in the race... The race itself was a snoozer, I fast forwarded to the end after lap 10. Abu Dhabi sucks as a track.

Lando better buy a drink for Oscar. While it didn't help Oscar's championship, Oscar taking one for the team in Monza is why Lando is champion today.

But okay, it was bound to happen.
