Stroll gets a penalty for not giving Gasly enough space at the Montreal Grand Prix. Gasly told his team on the radio “He pushed me on to the grass”.

Stroll has to give a driver at least one car length of space. Nope haha.

A reckless driver. He also got a grid penalty in another incident with Gasly at Monaco during qualifying.

Finally got to see Oscar and Lando battle it out. Unfortunate to see the result, dumb move by Lando.

Great race by George, and awesome to see Antonelli with his first podium.

Swear Norris is an idiot.. makes some dumb ass decisions when racing.

Feel like Pistatri in a lot of ways is a more mature driver

Ferrari strategy/team radio was awesome again. Team tells Leclerc they are going to plan B, Leclerc replies that he wants plan C, team says "copy". Later they pit him early (plan B) and he's asking them why they are pitting because he wanted plan C (one stopper).

It's pretty wild how differently the F1 team and the LeMans team function. What a performance by Ferrari at the 24 this year....again.

It does make sense though, because for the WEC 24H LeMans they only have one track to design for all year. The car is tuned for that specific setup and they spend time optimizing.

The tracks in F1 vary greatly in design and quality, there's a lot of specific setups that only work for specific tracks, like George Russell also mentioned, the air in Montreal is cooler and works better for their cars, but they underperform at other tracks with warmer air. I think it's a lot harder when they are only evolving essentially on one chassis design throughout the year.

WEC is a series, and the cars are setup completely differently for different tracks. I think there are 8 stops on the series this year.

They are different sports for sure, but i don't think car design (or amount of resources to do so) is why Ferrari can't get their shit together in F1

I think Piastri is WDC this year.

Lando has immense talent but doesn't have as much mental strength as Piastri to perform under pressure

Question for your F1 fans: Is the Aston Martin F1 Team a Canadian-based team or only Canadian due to the fact it is owned by Lawrence Stroll?

Due to the fact its owned by Lawrence Stroll, and he lets his son Lance have fun in the car every few weeks.

Aston is a british based team. Lawrence Stroll only owns 33% of it.

What's the employee discount on one of those?

I absolutely love how Lando's Silverstone victory was overshadowed by the Hulk getting a podium, while Piastri was looking pissy. The champagne victory was shameful, they completely ignored Hulk.

Amazing weekend, from FP2, Quali to what felt like 3 different races in one Sunday.

Also if Max to Mercedes rumors are true, could be an amazing Summer break.

I would also like to add, AM had a strategy masterclass with Lance, P4! (...go canada..)
