And here I am a proud mini owner.

Spoiler!
I just spent the last few days looking for any manual JCW or S that wasn't completely beat to shit, and came up empty.

That only makes me appreciate even moreso the painstaking journey. Truly a nice find!

do u use anything on the plastic trim? i heard all those "back to black" dressing will wash off and you'll have to keep reapplying. apparently there is ceramic coating for plastic trims and it stays black for years.
Oh, how I love my life of maintaining two black cars...

Theres two products that you can go with. Solution finish which will last upwards of 8-12 months. Armour detail supply makes a trim coating that has a black dye infused so it seeps into the trim. That will last up to 2 years.

^no point in trying to keep a black car clean. utter waste of time. Especially if you park it outside like i do with my hitlerbox.

Youre not wrong at all. One wash, then park at work for 9 hours and the car looks like ass. I miss having a white car.

I sure appreciated those tents, and if you hung out near the back side of them there was a decent cross breeze most of the day.

You get 9 hours out of it? I gave up after the time I got my car all nice and shined up and by the time I was done at the back the front was already covered in dust and pollen again.

Now I just pressure wash it a few times a year and call it good.

is this what youre talking about?
$116 for 30ml... is this liquid gold? is 30ml enough for to do all the trim?

That's actually their full exterior paint coating which I applied on my wagon. The one you want is called Trim+ coating (https://armourdetailsupply.com/colle...s/trim-coating) that comes in a 50ml bottle. Which is more than enough to do the trim as less is more when it comes to application. It might be cheaper once Carzilla gets their shipment in. I tend to find that detailing products on Amazon are a tad inflated.

Full collision and comp it’s just over $600 a year. Without those it would be cheap cheap

It was lowered when we saw it at the beetle meat. Maybe he lowered it some more.
