Loving the extra space and higher seating position. The 4Motion and overall performance are great for a vehicle that weighs over 6,000 lbs. There’s definitely more wind noise above 100 km/h, but that’s expected when you’re driving what’s essentially a brick on wheels. Of course, the Model Y is light-years ahead when it comes to UI and software. The ID. Buzz has its fair share of frustrating and downright baffling design decisions, such as: -No camp mode. The car automatically shuts off if no one is in the driver’s seat, forcing people to use dumbbells or rocks the AC running. Hopefully VW adds this via an OTA update, though I’m not holding my breath... -Terrible app integration. The myVW app is painfully slow. Each command takes 20–30 seconds to process before error messages start popping up. -Potato-quality rear camera. For a $100K OTD vehicle, you’d think VW could at least include a 720p camera system. -You have to turn the side mirror knob to the 'R' side EVERY time you reverse if you want the mirrors to go down to see the parking lines or curb. |
Congrats! Do you still have the i3 and La Marzocco? :D |
OMG can't believe someone actually dropped money on one. I heard they were stopping production cuz no demand. Like wouldn't mind it, if it didn't have like frisker levels of software issues. |

I should take my kids to go see the buzz, but my wife wouldn't have anything to do with it. |

had no idea they had come down so much $$$ - what a FU to the early adopters https://www.facebook.com/share/17jiFZad2P/ |
For sure. There are folks on the fb group who are suggesting a class action lawsuit WutFace The $26k discount on that FB ad is misleading as the extra $5k discount from VW is only for business fleets. My guess is that they will be provide more incentives for lease and finance options in the next couple of months, especially for the single colour models which have been sitting on the lot for 6+ month. I don't see how they could lower the price further as that would make the id buzz cheaper than the id.4! |
Pretty sure I saw a recent ad with one of the local VW dealerships about having $99/week leases on the ID Buzz too. Goods can always be moved. They just have to be priced accordingly. |

Nice VW BangBus, what's the realistic range on it? does it have a heat pump? |
Quote:
Yes, Canada's buzzes all come with heat pumps. |
How bad is it is it compared to Tesla? Like Tesla app is still laggy at times, trying to view sentry mode and sometimes the car doesn't react occasionally when you do stuff like just walk up or turn on climate on app. But it's 85% good. There's no issues at all in the app with charge limits etc, charge times. |

yeah that's super annoying on a vehicle at this price, not surprised given the back window toggle debacle still want one though, if they facelift without cap buttons on the wheel and have more range |

That’s the curse of these new cars. They are all humongous.. compared to the stuff in the 90s and 2000s these modern things are monsters. |
