Think of it this way, they couldn't get the MK7 to meet minimum requirements so they had to splurge on felt seals. |

Guangdong hoarding at its best! :fuckyea: |
Actually I saw this guy in Richmond yesterday, around 5:30pm stopped on Granville at No.3 heading eastbound. I was driving an Ioniq 5, pulled up next to him, and was about to wave but the light turned green and I turned right. Apologies for my son's potato pic: https://i.ibb.co/gZybPLjr/0595ee76-3...a337f95b97.jpg |
Looks like that rich guy Badhobz |
There's only one way to say hi to German beetle owners https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...sk_gesture.gif |

https://i.postimg.cc/WzFp7pd2/2025-08-18-15-20-54.jpg Third time I have driven it this year LOL. Livin dad life to the max. Kid in a 3rd gen LHD Supra was goin nuts when he saw me coming. Exchanged waves and head light pop ups. That made my day. The car remains an absolute blast to drive. Every drive (even a short one this time just to run a few errands) is sensory overload. It is loud as F, and more so when the top is down (to the point that I wear ear plugs on longer drives over 30 mins). It has no power steering. Its lower than the window line on most cars, you are literally sitting on the ground. After a 20-30 min drive I am content and usually head home. |

Took the Honda down to Waterton. Waking up at 3am to get a head start was worth it! I love those |
Nice photos, GS8! (Also neat Pontiac...G8?) I'm curious about the HR-V: Was it meant to replace a certain model within Honda's line up? Or was it just a misfit model came out of nowhere? |
It’s for people who can’t afford the prestigious CRV but still want a Honda suv |

Yep. They are 18" vs the stock 17". They give the car a bit more modern look vs the stock wheels which look like they are from the 80s. OEM+. https://i.postimg.cc/kXSKDcMp/ferrari2020-2.jpg |

If you want a fancier one you can go get a ADX! I saw a ADX on the road the other day and I had to do a double take because I had no idea what it was. |
The HR-V was for when the sub compact SUV market was booming (CX-3/CX-30, RVR, Trax etc). Now it's almost as big as a gen 2 CR-V. It was an Asia-market model before coming here iirc. |
The current HRV is basically a jacked up Civic wagon, burdened with the base NA 2.0L engine, isn't it? I actually quite like that engine -- it's a K20 engine that behaves exactly like what you'd expect from a workhorse K engine. Except that Honda is making it haul far too much weight than what the engine can handle. |
