I thought most of us here on RS are already married with kids! So all these first date advices... are they useful in starting (extramarital) affairs too?
affairs are not complicated, you just need money to do so honestly. dating these days feels so transactional that guys are just opting out.
The muscle loss from those activities is minimal anyways, and if anything the cardio itself leans you out and makes your muscles pop out more visually (even with the minimal loss).
If you're a regular lifter going 4-5 days a week, you can easily maintain over the summer with 3 days a week if you're adding in some kind of a sport or cardio activity on those other days.
It's good for the joints too.
Playing 2-4x golf a week at 2.5-5 hours a round, 1.5 hours of driving and then maybe a quick 1 hour social dinner after.
Takes up pretty much all of lifting time. But gonna dial back to max 1-2x a week now.
Still no excuse though, when I played vball and golf 5-6x a week, I could still gym 4x a week.

who's got the time money or energy to live a double life.
i got kids so i as sure hell don't
where there's a will, there's a way. people have always been creative when finding ways to cheat. there's obviously plenty of stories of men and women who are married with kids and still managed a second life.
I hear about horror stories in the US about losing half especially in “no fault” states. Is it just as bad in Canada and you lose half or more if there’s kids?
The reason why men "lose half" is because their wives tend to make less income, or no income at all, during marriage. Divorce in no fault jurisdictions is supposed to make both people equal after the relationship ends.
Is it fair for the spouse who earns little to no income to become destitute after a marriage ends? It's going to be pretty hard for a stay at home parent to earn an income after being out of the workforce after several years to several decades.
I've been an advocate of partnering up with your equal in both assets, earning potential, and upbringing for a long time, but I also realize that I'm in the minority. Men will be men and women will be women.
Few things, the HR lady resigned yesterday. CEO resigned long time ago. If I was HR lady, i woudl have negotiated a deal LOL. A hug doesn't mean NOTHING, so you better package me out.
In China, they changed since Feb 1 2025, u dont' auto get 50% so that's interesting.
China’s divorce property division laws, changed effective February 1, 2025. Some experts say the new divorce and property division law is driven by skyrocketing divorce rates.
The new law shifts away from the previous practice of automatic 50/50 asset splits in divorce. Instead, property division will be primarily based on who brought what into the relationship, and which parties and which party’s parents financially contributed to its acquisition.

Anyway, lots of dad bods out there these days.
I agree with this 100% and follow the same sentiments.
Zero interest in ever marrying a loser or someone that doesn't carry a career with somewhat equivalent means, nowadays especially where women are educated and have lots of opportunities.
I've never understood the types of guys who marry some province woman from a backwater third world country and when the marriage inevitably ends they're crying about getting taken to the cleaners for alimony and all that crap.
Can you check it out and report back. I heard it's mostly 30+ or 3-5/10 girls.
I recently met 2 30's fobs at a party that are secretly escorts
According to the guy at work who had 3 ex wife’s they are quite good. Of course it’s based on price. Don’t get the 100 dollar sucky sucky ones. Get the 400-500+
