Indian here as well ... yah, what Eff-1 said. Some days you just want to grab some white guy's attempt on Indian, Japanese (like Cactus Club/Earl's sushi rolls), Chinese, Mexican food for good value. DEI all the way.

Joking aside, I think it's always best to be nice to people online and be open to disagreeing with one another, but also knowing when to walk away. 99.999% of people I've met on this forum are nice. The only 0.0001% jerkface I've ever met was Badhobz.

I still recommend you guys check out The Gull if you're in North Van. They even have a burger and a free beer Wednesdays.
One of the best burger/fries in town.

I spend a lot of time in west van and honestly this is par for the course. Just looking around, I realized recently that West Van is literally one big retirement village. It is comprised mostly of seniors who yell at the world and who are against any kind of progressive change whatsoever. They vote in large numbers and naturally elect a council who carry the same values.

Shortly after we met up for coffee the last time, a few days after, I went to West Van (Park Royal) to meet with someone. I waited around for a good 30 minutes before she showed up and the reason? She saw some guy looking for his hearing aids and she helped to find them, only to lose her old-age reading glasses in the process.
