The amount of times I showed up to a condo and a customer had a door bell camera and was told to either not install it, or the tech was going to “help” install it must have been 50-60 times.

So business wise, it makes sense leaving a $200 door bell uninstalled if you can “bundle” their services, regardless of whether they use it or not because it looks better in the book? lol ok..

Legit fuck Entwistle and everyone at any sort of level of authority there, only wish the worst for them. Fucked with a lot of people who were nothing but decent employees

This company needs ass cancer at the bottom and a brain aneurysm at the top. Fuck em all and their shady ass 3rd party TFW wrangling scumbag contractors too.

Cancelled cable 2 years ago and have been rocking just internet, credits are up next month so called today and got sweet talked by Telus getting TV again lol. That said it was $50 more than what I'm paying now which includes Disney, Netflix Premium, and a 3rd choice which I opted for Sportsnet. I fugure I already have Disney and Netflix which run me $40/month so I'm really just paying $10 more for TV.

Just remember when your plans and credits expire (if applicable.) I had to do that for my parents a while back and because I forgot, the bill easily doubled!

the hw i heard is garbo anyway, and i was told that if you cancel services you lose functionality so IMO it's better to just buy 3rd party doorbell cam yourself

Just buy door bell cameras or exterior camera from Costco. It’s kinda sad to see a company like ADT that was pretty respected, had decent hardware and actually installed real security systems get bought up by Telus only to be shoved under their gross umbrella and have incompetent people install garbage hardware

Maybe it's because I'm in pharmacy but I don't know what led to most people pronouncing fentanyl incorrectly. Nearly everyone nowadays keeps saying fen-ta-NULL when it's actually fen-ta-NILL. The spelling alone would tell you "NYL" couldn't possibly be pronounced as NULL. Just a pet peeve of mine

I hate flying. So much so that I’ve actively looked into getting a private airplane and it’s significantly cheaper than ya think. To own a private plane costs about 2500 a month for the plane and storage. Talking a little Cessna not some g7 jet.

Only problem is a little Cessna is a piece of shit and won’t take you very far

That doesn't surprise me when they've been greasy as fuck for years. When I was a kid they called our house and managed to turn me ignoring the guy and just saying "uh huh" every so often into an approval for adding an internet plan. My mom was pissed off with them for that to begin with, then when she called they wanted her to drive across town to give them the modem back. After a bunch of back and forth and my mom getting mad at Telus people on the phone they finally get the charges to stop and gave my grandparents back less than half the money they'd taken.

Telus is scum. I'll never do business with them in any way.
