Fun fact my Master System and Game Gear both are labelled “Made in Hong Kong” I wonder when was the last time HK did any electronics manufacturing like this?

Since the handover from the UK to China, most manufacturing in HK shifted to Mainland China.

I didn’t know about the Kreo ones but I grabbed some of the $5 dollar store sets they’re great for the price but man do they not stick together well, putting them together is an incredibly tedious effort of putting something on and something else falls off and needing octopus arms to hold it all together lol!!

ya one of the boxes had a deformed part like it was partially crushed (fortunately not important part). they were hard to find, and then all of the sudden flooded all dollar stores to the point i had to stop myself from buying them lol..

kreo-o is much nicer - but it was part of a larger "dojo set" that had a martial arts base similar to the older lego castle set. scrapped all that, just wanted the tank, destro and baroness lol

From the same guy that built the 747, he built a Concorde with BA livery, no stickers.

I had the Nomad, which apparently came out later but looks older somehow lol. It sucked batteries like mad so we usually used the wall adapter but the capabilities were pretty nuts when you think about it. Being able to play full console games, and hook to a TV, and have a port for a second controller, it's pretty dang impressive. I don't think anything else could do that til the Switch came out.

On a side note I've also got all my old consoles on white shelves so for half a second I thought that was one of my pictures lol.

finally decided to unbox (moving boxes) these and add them back to the collection. im surprised how well they survived the move.
plans for this weekend: clean and rebuild some minor broken broken pieces and put up a shelf to display them.

Lots of dusting!! But if you’re on top of things, it’s not too bad.
I take a can of compressed air and a hand held vacuum to 1/4 of the collection weekly and it only takes 15mins.

I’m not actually. I never watched the movie as a kid and it didn’t age well for me to rewatch it as an adult. Plus I don’t think it looks that good.
I’m just waiting for someone to sell the new black pearl and one piece ship at a good price.
