It works as it should ... I connected it to cig lighter, not hard wire, didn't think I need it to protect car when I'm parked. Cheap entry point into the dashcam @ $139, basically just installed it and let it run. Thanks for the recommend.

Was in the Harrison Mills area, stopped by where the eagles are congregating. Badhobz, go for a drive, and take some close ups of Eagles.

Saw a bunch of these Fraser Valley guys:

I rather shoot a moose, or a bear, or a beaver….. anything fuzzy wuzzy and cute

not sure if any of you are ryobi guys, but their 18V+ battery (small one) is on sale for $29 (which is an actual price i'd pay for one). they're not worth the regular price IMO which is like almost $90

Bear in mind that $29 one is their regular 2 Ah version though. I have one just like that and it gets used on a regular basis. But after 3 yrs, I'd have to say its capacity has gone way down. It is still useful in my low draw tools -- eg. drivers and drills. But in my high draw tools -- leaf blower and pressure washer, the endurance is low enough that it isn't really useful anymore.

Their high performance version at 4 & 6 Ah seem to be better buys if you need something with more endurance. The 6 Ah Hi-Perf version, in particular, it $98 right now, which seems to be a fairly good price. The Hi-Perf version also seems to run cooler than the regular version.

They have a newer and even higher performing version called High Performance Edge, and supposedly it provides even more power than their high performance 8 Ah battery. But it is too pricey for me (@$148 right now).

whitev70r - I was out there last week, theres a better spot just up river a bit. You gotta park near the road and walk through that neighbourhood beside the golf course, when you hit the river turn right and walk down a little

Amazon goofed with my bumper plate set and sent me an extra pair of 25s so I got 210lbs instead of 160lbs all for the low price of $166+tax. Most plates go for around $2/lb so I got a steal here and 210lbs is as much I can envision needing for a long time.

Thank you! Picked one up. That will come in handy. Great deal.

I ended up at Canadian Tire today looking for Christmas decorations and ended up getting this 21' ladder for 50% off. I've been procrastinating getting one, but my gutter needs some repair and so I took advantage of the deal.

That's really good.

A couple years ago I picked up a NYT subscription (incl Athletic and Cooking) for $2/month for one year. After a year, it went up to $25/mo. I went online, clicked on cancel, and it immediately dropped the price back down to $2 if I stay another year. 3 years later, still paying $2/mo.

np! i found it way more powerful than my other skinny battery, which i'm sure has decayed over time. i have a small yard and use the portable hand vacuum mostly so it does the job. side note i just found that my mini cheapo ryobi leaf blower just died gonna have to keep an eye out for a sale. leaf blowers for ryobi seem reg price.

i got that ladder many many years ago. i like the simple lock feature and ability to extend in the A-frame. it's super sturdy but dear lord is it heavy as FUUUUCK. i've only been using it with my neighbour to help trim his trees and man i take the weight of my 6' aluminum ladder for granted

This is the best deal I could find on a blower if you are still looking:

https://www.homedepot.ca/product/1001893515

Yes, you are right the ladder is heavy, but i'm ok with it because mostly I need it to reach my gutters which are 18' off the ground.

I previously tried one of those telescoping ladders from Amazon and while it was light and portable, it lack stability at taller heights and I was sketched out being on it. This is meant to replace that one.

I have this ladder and it's a beast to maneuver when it's at/nearly at full extension. It's pretty steady otherwise.

that leaf blower is OOS, tbh even at $150. At that price I wonder if getting a cheapo amazon one for under $100 is more worth it.

i also got the ladder for gutters but realize that realistically i can only access my lower gutters and it's not worth risking my life trying to access the upper floor gutters and rather just hire a cleaner at that point.

if you want to blow gutters out, especially if the leaves are somewhat damp, consider getting something stronger than 18/20v. my dad has a greenworks 80v one from costco and it's a lot more powerful than my 20v dewalt, although mine is still pretty good.

i cant really blow fresh snow off my driveway with mine but he can with his.
