Been thinking about picking up a Winchester XPR in 7mm MAG. There is a rebate right now, been reading good things on them, and I want a synthetic 7mm. I've been kind of thinking about an X-Bolt, but the price and reviews on these Winchesters has my curiousity peeked.
Anyone held one? Shot one?
Not looking at the combo, but here is a Cabela's link: http://www.cabelas.ca/product/86967/winchester-xpr-bolt-action-rifle-w-vortex-crossfire-ii-3-9x40mm-scope?productVariantId=250529&ps=True&utm_source=gel&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=17-FGOD-e2&email=aWFubWNpbHdhaW5lQGdtYWlsLmNvbQ==

I've never shot a 7mm before, but I like what I'm reading about it.
The 7mm Remington Magnum offers ballistics better than the .30-06 Springfield with bullet weights of 175 grains and less, one of the more popular loads being a 160 grain spitzer loaded to 3,000 ft/s (910 m/s).
That's the makings for a good hunting rifle for larger game. Far more precise than my 45/70 hole puncher.
:lol

I already have a 7mm MAG and I love the calibre, but my rifle is an older wood/blued combo and I like the synthetic/stainless. Very flat, easy to fine tune hand loads with 7mm MAG. I think I am just in the 'want a new rifle' mode - need to calm it down, finish my AR first. lol.

I have a synthetic Tikka T3 in 7mm it's been awesome. It's been a great companion in the bush for years for me now, it's so easy to handle and traverse logs etc have loved it since I got it.
My dad and I have both been shooting 7mm mag for as long as I can remember. Taken many animals with them between the both of us. Only caliber for me
With that said I'm going to need a new scope for my gun this season, I have been shooting with an old bushnell elite for the last 7-8 years, any recommendations for somthing under $400?
I've liked what I've seen in a few friends variable optics

I have been very happy with my Nikon Monarch 3 4-16x50mm on both my .270 and my 7mm MAG. Very clear glass, lots of light transmission, and robust - one dropped out of my ATV boot doing 35kph, scratched the scope bell, and it still held zero.
Sadly, they used to be $500ish, but their price has jumped. Their Prostaff line is cheaper - they are a 2 piece construction but the glass is excellent as well - I have a few of them. If you are okay with a 4-10 mag, that will fit under $400.

Nikon scopes are great.
There's a great promo going on Zeiss which ends sometime this week. I know Zed has had bad luck with these scopes LoL.
But Nikon price point can't be beat

you guys hunting with 7mmRM. what factory ammo are you using for deer?
Im keeping an eye out for a Tikka T3 or T3x stainless for hunting and I keep seeing tons of 7mmRMs for sale, but I think thats almost a little too much horsepower for deer. Great caliber for larger game tho.
Zedbra
09-15-2017, 09:58 PM
I only reload for my 7mm MAG, no factory ammo. As for too much calibre? Never heard of a deer not being dead enough.... ;) I have loaded and tried some 130g loads worked for smaller game - same as most peoples' .270 "deer" gun. However, I find both my 7mm MAG and my .270 both prefer 150g bullets - just right for large and small game.
I'm sure there are many mouse fart loads you could find for 7mm MAG, just can't help you with factory ammo recommendations (though when I do buy factory loads I usually only buy Norma, so that I can have the brass for reloading).

Even the good pricing these days is expensive. We were so spoiled when the dollar was at par to be able to buy 5.56 ammo at $35/100 on average.
Hopefully we get closer to parity. Once the AR chassis starts selling in the $5-600 range, I'm in like a dirty shirt!

The S&W and DPMS ARs are in the $649 range right now. Big slow down in the US market has manufacturers dropping their prices.
Building my AR has been a fun (but expensive) learning curve, though. Just saying.

For me it's the cost. Not even the overall price, but I'm up to 16 guns now and before I make it 17 I'm going to need a good reason. AR are a blast, but we have them in our shooting group already. That's why my focus has gone to the ammo side. My reloading setup is looking really good these days. Plus with winter coming, it's nice to sit down and pound out a few hundred rounds.

I'm thinking of getting a better press for my rifle reloads - a single stage. I have the LEE turret press and there are a few mils of sloppiness in the die plates that sometimes it bumps the shoulder and the round can't chamber. I'll give you a call, see what you have working for you - I'm thinking of a Progressive for my handguns and then old fashion single stage for rifles. Not sure yet about .223.

IF someone is looking for a cheap red dot the Bushnell TRS 25 is $98 now + an additional $40 MIR.
WIth that said some people claim that the newer model has issues vs the old model (old model has gold lettering and this one has the white lettering which is the new model)

Snuck out to Hope today and visited Frank from Cerakote BC, dropping off all my AR goodies for him to work his magic. He realizes that that this is going to test his abilities a bit as the engraving on the lower isn't that deep for the colour filling I want - but I told him I would wait and I will pay - him being the perfectionist, I know it'll be good.
So, now it is hurry up and wait, but we're all used to that now.

I have heard of Cabela's adding on a few extras after the sale on restricteds, insisting that they ship with a trigger lock and hard case, although stores have different guidelines for shipping than the public. Your $30 was well spent supporting a small shop.
As for the Cerakote job - I will keep you updated. I told him no rush and he is giving me a deal as I have sent a lot of business his way - I think he just started it this week after soaking it to get all the oils out of the materials.

Woot!
Me too. And Zed is right, the $30 is going to a small business rather than a painful conglomerate. I still remember the last rifle I bought from Cabelas, and how much of a nightmare that was.
Anyway, I was reading a cool article on the history of the AR, and the boondoggles created by the old boys network in the US armory.
Why is the AR so lethal
https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/11/why-the-ar-15-is-so-lethal/545162/
and the original article from the 80's that outlines the history of the AR, and the difficulty in changing from what they had been using.
https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/1981/06/m-16-a-bureaucratic-horror-story/545153/
It's interesting to see how and why the US military adopted the AR in a small caliber, and how many soldiers died because of the bureaucracy involved.

Zed, are those the polymer mags or steel? I would love to buy some, but it looks like I missed out on the sale; and stock levels.
I did the steel shoot yesterday at the indoor range. Got my time down to under 7 seconds at 12 yards with 10” steel plates. This is for five targets. The instructors were under 2 seconds, which is amazing.
Then I got shot....
I watched as the dime sized piece of bullet slag came back at me and got me square in the chest. As rare as it is, this is the second time I’ve been hit by a ricochet shooting steel. It left a nice little bruise too, as it hit through a hoodie and two shirts.
It’s like I’m eating damn magnets or something.

She's finally done!
After swearing off getting an AR15 due to all the hoops needed to jump through, ie the wall thickness shenanigans to prevent a full auto sear from going in, restricted status strictly for being an AR15, 5 round limit for rifles, etc, etc), I figured if the RCMP wanted to make it a pain in the butt to own, I'll just get one simply because we can.
Still managed to put a good scratch on the side of the bolt release from being careless. I didn't trust myself enough to assemble an upper so I went with a pre-assembled Daniel Defense M4V7.
Going to load up on 223/556 and go shooting with a coworker who has a Swiss arms rifle :)

Got mine too, pretty quick mail in rebate.
The red dot is fine for $60 but I def wouldn’t pay $100 for it after using it a few times. The no auto-off battery is annoying because it dies super quick

I have an itch to get a dedicated trap gun. I was seriously eying up a Citori 725 Sporting, but I keep reading that Browning is having issues with their stocks cracking and then taking months to replace in the 725 and XT models. So....now I am considering either a Caesar Guerini Summit or possibly an older Ljutic 73; I can;t help myself, I love the old classics.
Anyone have an O/U that they regularly shoot with feedback?

I’ve shot a double barrel before, but never an O/U.
Those are some pricey guns. A sweet trap gun from Italy can cost thousands. If not tens of thousands. I see those guns as an investment.
Speaking of investments, the gun that was used to shoot Lee Harvey Oswald was bought at auction for $15,000 back in the 60’s. It’s a Colt cobra revolver in 38 special. It’s now worth $2-3,000,000, and each billet shot out of it goes for hundreds, if not thousands of dollars at auction. It’s crazy!
Zedbra

Yeah, I am treating myself as I am getting a promotion in Feb - I'll running the company, so I figure I will buy one good O/U that I can shoot the rest of my life and then my sons will also enjoy it when I am done. I'm leaning towards the Caesar - it sure is a pretty shotgun.

Zedbra, I shoot an older Browning Citori. It's a field model so no fancy stepped rib or fiber optics or anything. Very solid, honest feeling gun. Love it and the feel of the action. From 1983 and it's still going strong. I want to get a newer pad on it - I believe it's still an original pad (:O) but that's about it. Fixed choke (F/M) so no hard decisions choosing, just pick which barrel and shoot it. Have done a 23/25 a couple of times. Definitely me as the weak link. Tried a couple of newer Browning guns and they felt good for me as well.
OUs are nicer than a pump to shoot, not sure about semi as I've never had the chance to shoot that for trap. It feels more compact for a given barrel length since the action is further back towards the stock.
The Pemberton club has Stoeger O/Us as their club gun and those aren't bad but nowhere near as refined. If you'd like we can try to meet up and you're welcome to give my gun a try.
In the trap demographic of the club, about 70% are shooting Browning, 20% Beretta, and others are various brands.

Thank you for the offer, I see many older Brownings available but am concerned about fitment. I need a long LOP and I have really large hands - so anything with a palm swell is welcomed. Hence, I am considering a new shotgun that is completely adjustable as it is hard to get my hands on something that fits. I do like that some of the newer O/Us have mechanical triggers and not inertia, as then I can shoot light loads and partake when we shoot doubles at our range.
I have been using an old Breda semi-auto long recoil for trap the last few years and while I can often shoot a 20 or 21, I have issues with the straight out of the house slow rising pigeons, as you need to cover your target with the old ones; I shoot and see the clay get pushed down or up, as I am shooting over or under the pigeon. Time to smash those ones, too!

I picked up a case of G11 a few days ago and then it went even lower yesterday I hear - cheaper than I can reload.
I also blew next year's gun budget last night and ordered my new O/U for trap. I ordered a Rizzini Vertex Sporter with 30" barrels, raised rib, and adjustable comb; it was already shipped this afternoon. I received an email from the CEO of Rizzini USA saying that he hopes I like my new shotgun and that they will send me a shooting vest for a few bucks. Nice touch, considering it is a holiday for them.

I really wanted to do a free float rail but I don't have the tools to do the work and really wasn't interested in paying a gunsmith and spending all the money on what's essentially an entry level AR so I went with the economical and easy Magpul route.
Handguard - Magpul MOE SL Carbine Length
Grip - Magpul MOE SL
Buttstock - MOE SL (yea there's a theme going here)
Charging Handle - Aftermarket Butterfly Ambi Charging Handle, it's essentially like the Raptor Charging handle but at half the cost and probably not quite on the same level in terms of quality but reviews were great

Yeah, I'm looking to get a raptor type charging handle myself. The stock one is pretty clunky even for my small hands.
At least it's not the military version which in combination with where the sling mount is, probably isn't great on the fingers either:

More options now a days.
If you want legit Raptor brand they have the LT line now which is almost half the price at around $80 CDN compared to their SD line which are around $150.

A larger scope is in the future.
Build is as follows:
Dlask custom CCFR lower with custom serial number
Dlask 20" 5.56 chrome lined barrel
Dlask buffer tube kit
Dlask bolt carrier group
Phase 5 upper
Strike Industries red charge handle
Phase 5 Fatman muzzle break

The charge handle is so much nicer than the stock units are.
As for weight, I was surprised as to how light my AR is. Compared to my T97, where I had to lose the optic and go back to iron sights because it was too heavy, the AR is a featherweight. That's not a light optic of mount you're using either.

So, I took my AR out last night along with 180 rounds of reloaded .223, and 60 rounds of military surplus. Not a single one of my reloads worked in the AR. It was jamming, light striking the primer, or simply just not even feed. I used multiple mags and nothing worked. Finally, I tried to shoot a single, hand fed round. That's when I realized it was definately the reloads.
So I moved on to my T97. Same thing happened with the reloads. The only difference was my T97 worked with the reloads when it had one or two rounds in the mag. I then moved on to the military surplus, which I am happy to say worked flawlessly with both the T97 and the AR.
So I am baffled.....
I took some measurements this morning and saw no differences between a clean piece of brass, and my reloads. All the dimensions seemed to be in check.

You think?
I'm using CCI small rifle primers. They shoot out of my T97, you know, once they feed..... :okay:
I know my sizing was a bit off, where my OAL was like 2.24" as opposed to 2.20"
And there appears to be a bit of a bulge just below the crimp. Honestly, I should have made 20 and taken them to the range to test them out before building $40 worth of bunk ammo.
I'm taking off early today to make a nice soup for my hot pot. But once that shit is simmering, it's back down to the loading room to figure this out. I'll pop the projectile and powder out of one of my reloads and see if the brass fits the barrel. That's what I'm thinking, as it would explain the jams.
If not, then I'm back to square one. Square two could be to change the primer.

I was a little overconfident when I made these rounds. In fact, I've narrowed it down to the automatic powder dispenser ever so gently crushing my brass. I haven't had the time to reset everything, but no biggie as I have no time to shoot right now anyway. I may just bite the bullet (no pun intended) and buy a freedom bucket from Cabelas just to run some copper down the pipe.
To answer your question, I have to ask my own question.
Dafuq does FL mean? I measured the overall length, and the diameter of the neck and base of my brass. But I'm finding that I learn things as I go on. I had no issues with my 357, whether in my revolver or my lever. I guess I just got a little cocky when it came to the 223.

ARs aren't totally my thing, I just wanted to have one because I can (smoke on that Goodale). I spoke a bunch to incubus before buying one, he liked his Sig, so I started to look for one for myself. It is tight, no wobble or play between upper and lower like so many others say is 'normal' with the platform. My range doesn't allow rapid fire, so I decided to build an AR that is suited for long range slower shooting - and you can see the beast up above I just completed. So, I don't need two ARs - but I do want a new 7mm RM, and with me blowing the budget on the Rizzini, I am needing space in my safe and cash in my pocket.

FL = full length, which is the acronym used in the biz. Regardless of what others tell you, professional shooters and reloaders will tell you to always FL your brass. Yes, it stretches it more and you may not get those extra 3 or 5 reloads, but you will get consistent accuracy that is not specific to one chamber of one rifle (which neck sizing often does). You decide.

Remember when we were talking about the unreliable nature of the Lee classid press? Well, you were right. Measuring the OAL (I refuse to use FL!! :D) there is a difference of almost an 1/8th of an inch between rounds. Not only that, but many of the rounds have .02" of bulge in the neck and base of the brass.
I bought myself a few xmas gifts at Cabelas the other day that will help me prepare my brass better. When I was using the Lee for my 357 rounds, there were no issues. I got a new scope to throw on my .22, so now I can take the scope off the .22 and put it on my K31. Unfortunately for me the rings are weaver and the scope adapter is dovetail, am I better off buying new rings or do dovetail -> weaver spacers work well enough?
What scope rail did you buy? Mine is the Swiss Arms that mounts to the side, and it takes 11mm rings; I use low rings with a 42mm objective. I wouldn't want to mount the scope any higher. I'd buy some new rings - I'm a fan of the Burris Signature rings.

I've got the Swiss Products offset clamp mount. The rings it has now are pretty short, and the spacers would only add a couple mm to the height, but I'd rather not have to crank the snot out of the rings to make sure the spacers don't let anything move around. The .22 has similar spacers but they're bolted to the rifle, and I don't want to have to worry about precisely drilling and tapping the mount.

The Burris Signature rings comes with both clamps for dovetail and 11mm. Plus, they have the offset inserts you can buy to aline the scope, but the inserts also prevent ring marks on your scope.
Anyone here interested in my Sig M400 Enhanced? Less than 200 down the pipe. I see a rifle I want, so I am only going to keep one AR.

My boys were excited when they opened their new CZ Scout with a Burris Timberline scope. I didn't have time to mount the scope prior, as I needed to drift the rear sight out to be able to mount the scope low enough for them. underscore - I used Burris Signature rings. ;)

I managed to get the boys out to the range today, it warmed up to -3c. It took them a bit to get used to looking through a scope (and the eye box is tight on the Timberline) but once they figured it out, they sure got happy with every shot that got the metal targets swinging. A fond dad memory, indeed.

I started the New Year off with a bang by attending the SVRGC's annual prize trap shoot. There were about 40 shooters in total, some from Vancouver gun clubs and many from Pemberton. You should have come down roastpuff. ;)
The sun was out, the 40cm of snow was cleared, the temp stayed around -5c, and so the games were on. I won two rounds and almost won two more - I was shooting real good up until the end when I seamed to have lost my focus; so I packed it up and I'm still smiling. Prizes were all meat prizes, so I chose a turkey and a large package of chicken breasts - not bad for $5 entry fee per game.

Zed, love the pics of the boys. They look like they're excited as hell to plink some rounds with their new rifle.
I'm in need of some help finding this particular adaptor.
It's the Wheeler brand magwell attachment for an AR to be used with the tipton best gun vice.

I'm finding them on amazon and ebay, but they're incredibly expensive at $35+ and an additional $45 to ship.
Bullseye London had them for $24.99, but they're out of stock.
Any ideas?

I bought Steyr Pro Hunter SS in .270 a few years ago and it quickly became my favourite hunting rifle I have that will consistently put groups into one bullet hole at 100 yards. So I wanted another in my favourite moose calibre, 7mm Rem Mag. I discovered that Steyr stopped making these rifles in 7mm Rem Mag even before I bought the .270, stating that they do not make enough money on these Pro Hunters, as they simply wanted a $1000 rifle in the market. So, I started my search.....and kept searching....until a few weeks ago.
After 2 years, I was able to locate an unfired Pro Hunter in 7mm RM, so I quickly made it mine. It showed up in the mail today and I wasted no time mounting the rings and scope as well as giving the rifle a thorough cleaning. The bolt is very smooth and the trigger has no creep - breaking at 3.25lbs. I'm going to have a long and meaningful relationship with this rifle; looking forward to getting it out in the field.

^ long range shooting is a whole other shooting discipline that has many factors to consider, but the biggest two are: you generally need a lot of money to 'do it right', and there are as many opinions as there are shooters.
Most people that get into that discipline also reload, using top end gear for accuracy.
Can it be done 'cheaper', yes, of course. But if you want to get serious and are asking other long range shooters for help, they have a bit of a pay to play attitude, where the rifles often cost over thousands if not over $10k, plus high end glass starts at $3k and up.
If you are on CGN, they have a long range shooting sub-forum and there are many there that can answer any questions you may have. There are a plethara of acronyms to learn, and lots to read on ballistics, scope dope, and then rifles themselves. Personally, I have neither the money nor the time to get into that sport and to 'do it right'.

Picked up the new hardware tonight. A unique calibre only made by Dan Wesson for a few years - .357 SuperMagnum. It was developed by Dan Wesson after shooting one day with the CEO of Ruger, who had just invented the .357 SuperMax, so Dan Wesson made one with 0.15 larger case - a little friendly rivalry. The first run of Rugers were not reliable and the top straps were getting chewed through from the high pressure, so the Dan Wessons were made on their large frames (usually .41 Mag and higher calibre). This .357 is a beast.
It can shoot 180g and 200g bullets at 1900fps and ring the gong like no tomorrow at 100 yards. Oh man, I can't wait to unleash this beast. Due to the high pressures and likelihood of blowing out the barrel, the gun was sold with a spare 8" barrel, and the one in my box has never been fired.
As I was cleaning it, my wife picked it up and was handling it. Then, for the first time ever, she asked me how much I paid for it? So, I give her the evil shifty eyes and asked her why is she asking me this now for the first time? Her response - 'because I don't ever want you to sell this one'. Yes.

What a bunch of BS this is, such a waste of time and money. Addresses nothing about the complicated firearm laws, creates a back door registry, gun shows are now a thing of the past, and leaves any classifications moving forward up to the RCMP. I don;t remember voting for anyone in the RCMP, so welcome to the New State, with deniability passed from politician to cop.
Mr. Sock Puppet has worked less than a week this year, makes an ass of himself on the global stage, so he felt he needed to 'do something', that is nothing more than a head fake to all those that only want their legal weed.

Did a 100% disassembly of the Sig P226 lower, fortunately didn't need special tools like the top slide. Haven't cleaned the internals since I got it 3 years ago.
So much 'mud' from the grease picking up crud that you normally can't clean with a regular take down. Though it felt like taking apart a watch with the sheer number of parts. I'm a little jealous of the Glock owners.

Guys - go check out your local Walmart to see if they are liquidating their ammo. Got the heads up on CGN and so I dropped into our little Walmart today to grab the kids a pair of shoes, thought I would check it out and sure enough, all their ammo is below 50% off. Word is they are getting out of that line of business.
I picked up 20g slugs for $3 per box and Federal Blue Box 7mm Rem Mag 175g for $19 per box - cheaper than I can reload.
Here's the list of what I snagged - which included all that was left of their 12g and 20g target ammo:
Winchester 7.5 an 8 shot 20g boxes of 100 were $19 each
Remington 20g boxes of slugs were $3 each
Remington 20g 4 shot 20g steel shot were $9 each
Winchester 7.5 and 8 shot 12g boxes of 25 were $5 each
Remington 12g 4 shot steel shot were $15 each
Federal Blue Box 7mm RM 175g were $19 each
Winchester 7mm RM 150g were $19 each
Winchester .410 SS target loads box of 25 were $9 each

I had a lot of fun with my 1911-22, but now that I've felt the heat of a heavy loaded revolver, I can't go back to rimfire.

:agree:
The great thing about collecting guns is that you buy them once, and chances are they will retain their value, or even go up in value.
The problem is ammo. A 10rd mag of 5.56 can range from $3.00 to $5, while a good hunting .223 rd could be upwards of $2/rd. Granted, if you can take down a deer for $2, that's a great deal.
There are a few things you can do to mitigate the cost. Number 1 is buy a quality firearm. The fewer issues you have, the better. Jams are embarassing, FTF are dangerous, and gunsmiths can be expensive.
Number two, learn how to reload. If you're into shooting for the long term, it's wise to invest in a reloading setup. Some are better than others. For example, my Lee loader that can't hold a setting. Fine for .357 revolver ammo, but not for a highly engineered AR15.

Sound advice, hypa. The old cliche of: buy once, cry once - applies in this sport/hobby. That doesn't necessarily mean you have to spend a lot of money to have/be the best, as it can apply to paying what you have to in order to get what YOU want. There is exceptional budget equipment in the market, there is also some gear that costs a small fortune but it offers high value. I recently bought a Swarovski scope and now I think I am doomed with never considering anything less quality regarding clear glass.

On the flip side this means you probably don't want to hesitate if you see something you like for a good price. I've only got a few guns but looking at how the prices for some of them have gone over the last few years I'm glad I bought them as soon as I could.

will be a fun project, and will reduce the cost impact, spreading the cost over multiple smaller purchases.
the only issue with that listing is it doesn't include the bolt carrier group or the charging handle, i've found a couple for not much more that include the BCG and CH

Part of the fun of building is allowing you to choose which parts you like. Most people have a preference for a charging handle, and Dlask makes an excellent BCG.
Just read that they are making a semi-auto AA-12. The full auto has always been on my 'I wish we could have this in Canada' list, so if this ugly brute gets the green light up here, I am getting one for sure; not sure 100% why I need or even like the looks, but I'll have one in my safe.

I was introduced to the AA-12 in the Call of Duty games, and fell in love very quickly. Walking around corners and unloading on unsuspecting players was a lot of fun. It's just such a cool concept for a shotgun. Pure handheld destruction!

Problem with the 10/22 is that they're not the most accurate rimfire rifles. A bolt action would still be the best way to shoot long distances.
I know my 10/22, which has been heavily massaged, couldn't hit 300 yards consistantly.
I like the idea of the clean 500 yard rimfire shot. But I'm thinking a .17HMR or a .22 Magnum might be a better choice. Still rimfire, but with a little more punch and stability.

I believe you actually only shoot at 25 meters (82 feet) but with reduced sized targets to simulate full size targets at 400 yards. I downloaded and took a look at a few of the printable targets. I believe the end goal is to be able to shot 4 MOA in various positions.

I grew up hunting. My dad taught me to shoot, like his father taught him. The allies taught my grandfather to shoot, but I digress.... I guess you could say that hunting is a way of life for me and my family, not unlike the native people's. Then why the fuck is it so hard to get draws?!
Between the guided companies, the naturists, and the natives, it's been virtually impossible to hunt anything bigger than a grouse for the last few seasons.

Haven't been in this thread for a while.
My dad had come over to my place to help me bring in a new gun locker and while in the elevator an old lady asked what it was. Told her and instantly she said "oh no you don't" and then stayed quiet until she got off on her floor. I double checked my strata bylaws and theres nothing about storing firearms etc. The closest thing to it would be storing hazardous material in or about the strata lot. Bleach is a hazardous material... Anything with an MSDS sheet can be hazardous. Should I be worrying about the old broad complaining to the strata about it?
While I'm here, is the shooting range in langley decent? I haven't had time to check it out and would like to join a range.

It seems easy to spiral down the collection rabbit hole, especially since older milsurps aren't likely to have stashes left to hit the market anymore so prices will only go up. There are lots that I want to get but I'm limiting myself to the stuff I already have for now.
