I went to the game last night (first game in almost two years) and talk about a nice feeling being back. The crowd was lively (other then the annoying Bruins fans behind me) but man it felt good sitting around random people cheering on the Canucks.

I have to sad the having to wear your mask at your seats is stupid as hell, you can hold a drink/food but once you are done put your mask on right away.. What's the difference? You already had it off for so long, I sat there nursing a drink the entire time and they said nothing about it. I so hope that rule changes soon.

The big test for the team and Coaches Boudreau and Walker are the games on road trips.

No energy from fans to hype up the team. When they have back to back games during road trips, there will be less practice time for the team to correct errors.

If the team is still playing consistently well during their road trips in January and February, that will be a surprise for me.

From Bo, and one from Miller, the team had slow stretches of play in the game.

No shots in fourteen minutes of the second period for the team.

Demko made huge saves tonight but left in a softie for the second San Jose goal.

I must say, this new Canucks under Bruce there it is, is so much more entertaining to watch. Before with Green, it was very boring and slow.
The team was still a tad rusty and Dickenson showed he has no place in the top 9, but man they have 3 lines that are decently good.

I would like to see BB replace Dickenson with Motte and see how that goes. I feel Motte has better hands and offensive mind than Dickenson.

Honestly, after the come back against Columbus, I am having renewed feelings of the 2010/2011 Nucks where they would be down going into the third and find a way to win the game.

Even though they were down, you could see how the ice was tilted and the Nucks had so many chances and you just know Demko is going to make the save and keep the nucks in it.

If you watch the replay, Horvat had his stick checked by Shattenkirk - he couldn't get anything on the shot. It would have beaten Gibson IMO but good move by Shattenkirk to stop Horvat.
