and i haven't been in a long time either... how depressing..

so i've been doing alot of thinking and i'm pretty sure i want to get into riding this summer, but i dont really wanna fork out the cash for bike school really.. any suggestions? i just want an elcheapo bike i can crash and not die on!

have you ever ridden anything in your life? would you consider you have a good awareness while driving?

i never rode any form of motorcycle before i got mine and i didnt take lessons but i always considered myself to be an extremely observant driver. how you drive a car really determins how you ride a bike. if you drive like a maniac cutting in and out of traffic all the time, you will die on a bike. if you drive like a pussy 10 under the limit, you will die on a bike. riding is 20% the bike, 30% skill and 50% your attitude towards it.

riding isnt 'hard' to do. before i started riding i questioned myself on whether or not id be able to do it, but it came pretty easily once i did.

figure to spend a minimum of $1200 on gear before you ever start riding. $500 helmet, $100 gloves, $300 jacket, and $300 boots. ive got nearly $4000 worth of gear.

as for bikes, you can pick up an early 90s CBR600 F2 or yamaha or ninja or gixxer for a couple grand.

RPM goes into print the day after tomorrow and should hit shelves about a week after that, hopefully (will have 11 short and 2 long articles in it). And my free iPod has been shipped...life is good

oh man...the rest of her is just as amazing...she's 25 (!!!) has the cutest voice w/ the perfect Euro accent and the HOTTEST little 5'2 (if that) body....it's pretty hard to pay attention in class with her around hahaha
