Even if you don't keep up to pace with all the election stuff, it is not hard to figure out which party offers a package that is closest to what you want. Especially in the provincial election, seeing as there's only 2 main parties, and then several other parties that seem to cater to specific groups, such as the green party and marijuana party. Its just a matter of deciding what's important to you and figuring out which party supports those things. Also, if young people don't vote, the government won't care as much about things young people are concerned with, such as education. The reason health care is such a priority is because old people have the highest voter turnout of any demographic.
I think they're all crap.... so why vote.

Craig, that shops number quoted me just over half for labour than the cheapest shop I've found so far. Its hmm... $240 for 8hours or something... but he dosnt know how to work on the internals so he'll have to 'send it in' Thanks.

I agree w/ RedCeli (Troy, right?). Yound ppl SHOULD vote. Being 23 I've only been allowed to vote for a couple yrs and I've ALWAYS known whom I wanted to vote for and why. Most of the people I went with to the polling stations (friends my age) were in the same boat. There are TONS of 18-25 yr olds (the youngest age group w/ the right to vote) who know exactly what they want for the future and why and have very solid, educated reasons for voting the way they do.

same camera but 4.0mp and a flip out screen

the a75 is a rad cam, just make sure you buy some rechargable AA's for it... they're pretty hard on alkalines and since it uses 4 at a time it gets expensive fast.

2.5FearFactory 04-26-2005 03:05 PM

Had fun at pyp... Did a few 'mods' to an Impulse Wagonback. Pulled the engine/tranny, wheels, speakers, door handles, power window switches, few emblems and other misc parts. Here is our work just after we had begun, and afterwards.

HyperREV, what's your opinion of the Canon SD300? I'm looking to take that one with me to Europe but I'm concerned about the Li-on battery and recharging it over there. Do they have an adapter kit for the plug ins used in Europe and is that charger world capable?

the charger is world capable, you'll just need a plug adapter. the camera is pretty decent image quality wise, but the A520 actually takes a sharper pic IMO. a few things in the SD300's favour is unlimited video at up to 60 frames per second (better have 1gig) the digic 2 processor (same as my 20D) the 2" LCD and the Li-ion battery.

if you're after the best image quality for the money, get the A520 and the panasonic world capable Ni-MH battery kit and spend the money you saved on a big memory card and some extra warranty (;)) if you want the smallest possible camera, want the better video quality and have a big memory card to actually use the video then get the SD300.

now show me some love and come buy a camera from me

SmokeyTheBandit 04-27-2005 08:59 AM

funniest shit ever.. a "done up" cavalier tried to race me and my buddy a few nights ago, he's got an r6. and than a 90s integra tried to do the same thing

there was also this convertible 05 viper that woulda been fun, but that would require leaving first gear and speeding
