de-modded a random bolt that decided to wedge itself between the lower cross member and transmission... felt like i was driving a solid steel motor mount car!

its awesome when you drop off your bike to get a new tire put on, and the guy at the desk says, "yellow bike that's tire is still probably smoking?" hehe.

good old 2nd gear 10,ooo rpm 7seconds later should do it.

Today I rewrapped downpipe better with exaust wrap. Also wraped a few areas of ym IC pippnig that have potential spots to rub. Hrm... driveway tuned the car on jack stands, then started her up. first crank ain't no thang. Put the wheels back on it and dropped her down. Also rasied the car up a bit more and might have to go even more as 2" clearence is kinda scary for my exhaust.

Driveway tuning at it's best

did some datalogging/ tuning...
wow those new spark plugs and wires helped tons...

before at 13 psi at best it would get around 23 counts of knock and 8 degrees of timing advance at WOT

now at 15 psi at best it's getting 8 counts with very quick, rough tuning of fuel maps.. and 15degrees of timing at WOT yippee!!

What did you gap your old plugs to? and what is the gap now? I bet that had more to do with it.

giving the beater truck a bit of a facelift. pulled off the front lip sanded primed and painted it white to 'match' the body. also the front grill was broken on one side so i took a hacksaw to the other side and evened it all up, looks better like it was 'supposed' to look like that. haha. now i need to bend the front of the fender so that the turning signal isn't sitting so crooked. starting to look a tad better. going to install a shitty old pioneer cd player pretty quick here and buy some half ass speaks for the door. i've got a vacuum leak and it's causing my motor to idle really high, so instead of fixing that because it could be a hassle, we turned down the idle screw a tad. somewhat fixed it but it runs kind of rough. damned old vehicles.
