For the people who went to Las Vegas, is it actually cheaper there to party than Vancouver? in Clubs, Bars and Strip Clubs

Few friends who went there recently told us it was hella cheap and how they partied like rock stars

ive been to vegas more times than i can count. and not one time has it been cheaper than partying in vancouver. unless ur walking the strip and getting drunk getting free booze from the casino's or are downing the 67oz draft beers on the street, its WAY more expensive at clubs. bottle service, for example at tryst, is $650USD for a 26oz bottle of goose. at pop opera in vancouver is $175 i believe.

You got ripped off if you paid $650 for a 26 of goose. If I remember correctly, we paid around $450 for a 40 of goose. This was @ XS too.

More expensive than Vancouver's clubs. Cover is usually 30-35 for guys at the nice clubs. Table is at least 600 if not more. However, the experience is well worth it. Try to save up and get a table.

For Las Vegas hotel deals, check out www.MyCheapVegas.com, they'll have all the current promo codes. If you find the right ones, flight + hotel separately is usually cheaper especially booking those allegiant packages. Allegiant really rips you off on hotels, lol.

My work is sending me to a tradeshow in Vegas in 2 weeks.

I know very little about vegas, Is the Paris hotel any good? (Apparently that's where I'm staying)?

What are some good attractions closeby?

sonick 01-17-2011 10:26 AM

Paris is pretty good, and pretty central location. All the major hotels are walkable distance, should be fun.

Can't go wrong with Paris. Look up the previous few pages, there should be plenty of ideas + attractions for you to check out.

Yeah you're right, 450 is about what a bottle costs at XS, before tax and gratuity for the 1.18L... if he meant 650 after tax and gratuity it wouldn't surprise me (if he actually got a 1.18 not a 26).

Anyone going to Vegas should hit up www.jackcolton.com and get in touch with the hosts there. They can usually get you guest list/cover waived if your group is not a complete sausage fest or hook you up with table deals if you're looking for bottle service.

my bad. yes they were 40 oz. but it was 650 after taxes and gratuity. it might have been a bit more cuz we had a good central table. there are a few gay, out of the way tables and i know they charge a bit less for those ones.

either way, to answer the question, yes its way more expensive to party in vegas than in vancouver

Just booked flight and hotel to Vegas on Allegiant Air. I haven' been there in 7 or 8 years ago. Any recommendation what to do down there? I'm not big on gambling and the nightlife. I'll be there for 5 days 4 nights and I'm staying at Treasure Island.

flying there tomorrow with my buddies!!!!

question though, when were goin clubbing, how do we set up a guest list/bottle service? someone told me just ask the girls at the front desk of our hotel to set it up for us? but i dont know if they're just fucking with me or what. we plan on being pretty buzzed by the time we get there, id like to think were heavy drinkers and can hold our liquor quite well, so sit our asses as some penny slots and get a nice buzz going, then head to the club and get bottle service between me and my 3 buddys going and that should do us for the majority of the time were there.

but whats the dress codes like? would i be able to get in with lets say...all white lacoste shoes? or should i stick with the dress shoes, nice jeans and a long sleeve button up with gel hair?

Dress code = always dress nice = higher chance of getting laid. There are tons of guys in the clubs. If you don't look like you're rich then no chick is going to want to spend time on you. Very materialistic but it's the sad truth.

You can always just talk to the hotel concierge regarding getting the bottle service stuff setup. You get better privileges if you club at your hotel's resident club.

Have fun and make sure you wrap that sausage up
