Just got back from a weekend there. Got a tip from a friend in LA about getting passes that give free cover for clubs, and it worked like a charm.

Basically, there are promoters all along the strip (look for ID badges and backpacks... not the same as the mexicans with the stripper cards) who work for tips. You go up, tell them how many people and grab cards for all the clubs and strip clubs you wanna hit up. Have a few clubs in mind in case one club is super packed or are being dicks and not letting any guys in at all (as was the case with TAO thursday, we ended up at Tryst).

They give you whatever passes you want, then you tip the guy. Some promoters will bullshit you asking $10 a person or something, others are straight up. $5 per person is fair, but if you can haggle you can get them down to $10 for the group. Some passes work on multiple nights, so really it cost us $2.50 cover each to get into PURE on Friday then JET on Saturday.

However, you still have to line up in General Admission. Especially if it's a big group of guys, get there as early as possible and scope out the line. We were a group of 4 guys, no girls... Got in line between 930 and 10, and got in every time around 11pm-11:30pm.

Book airfare now if you see something cheap and book through the hotels main website and keep checking. Just call in and get the new rate if you see something lower.

+1. Also recommend sign up for hotels' and nightclub twitter pages, they often give heads up on great deals or twitter/facebook-exclusive deals.

Hey guys I'm planning to go down for nye..+ my 21st birthday on dec 29 any tips on when I should book and such? Would it be better for last minute booking or should I book It asap? I want to go for 3 nights 4 days. I know its cheaper if I fly from bellingham, but the way I look at it is the time and gas money you spend to bellingham doesn't seem worth it if your saving like 100 bucks on airfare. A tank of gas is 50 bucks + u gotta park your car there for a couple days.

Would airfare to vegas and back to yvr be under 400?

I frequently fly to la for about 4-500ish.

And which websites should I book from? Expedia?

My cuzins from la say its usually cheaper to book hotels through their website and keep the flight seperate.

Anyone have experience flying down during nye from vancouver?

Any tips would be much appreciated tia!

Bellingham is usually a good 50% cheaper than flying from YVR (more like $200 cheaper than $100) in my experience.

friday 400
saturday 3-400
sunda 200

Tapioca 08-13-2010 01:12 PM

A couple of buddies and I are thinking of heading down there in mid-December. The specials from Allegiant are very tempting. For example:

3 nights @ Mandalay - $300
3 nights @ Bally's - $280ish

USD, taxes included. Again, very tempting...

Yah, walked around the Forum Shops, the mall at PH, and the outlets.

Didn't buy much, a few dress shirts and polos.

You have to check out the Forum mall inside Caesar's Palace even if you don't shop. The architecture is absolutely beautiful in there
