Hotel: I booked to stay at Aria from Feb 6th to Feb 8th. I've heard mixed reviews but hey it's pretty new so we'll see how it turns out! Nightlife: Which club is recommended for Sunday or Monday? If it was Saturday it would be easy choice as most clubs would be packed anyway... but which clubs would still be bumpin' on the slower days like Sunday and Monday? I keep hearing the same names being tossed around like Tao, Pure, XS ... but are they good for a Sunday/Monday night or is there some other less well-known but much more happening club for those nights? Shows: As for Shows I think I have it covered ... I'll only be in Vegas for 2 nights and the 2nd night (Monday) is already booked for the Jacky concert (which is the main reason I'm going to LV) I spent lots of time browsing some showticket sites for the 1st night (Sunday) that I'm staying and I realized it was more a process of elimination as a LOT of shows don't seem to be performing that night, just my luck lol ... I tried to book Blue Man Group but apparently Feb 6th is the ONLY night they are closed out of the entire month!... "O" is closed, Ka is closed, David Copperfield and Criss Angel, closed! Siegfried and Roy - Retired Which basically leaves me with only La Reve that is open on that Sunday which; thankfully I read the reviews is still a pretty good Cirque Du Soleil show (Anyone have alternate suggestions? I'm up for any type of show, comedy/performance/adult/whatever) Food: I'm probably looking to eat at one buffet and dine at a GOOD restaurant on another night. Any recommendations? So far I've heard that Bellagio, Wynn and Aria all have excellent seafood-ish buffets, which one would you guys go to if you only could go to one? Googling so far has shown results like Delmonico's... which is a steakhouse ... but how awesome can it really be? I mean is it comparable to say Gotham or Mortan's here in Vancouver? What other restaurants are operated by celebrity chefs that I must-try and what kind of cuisine should I tackle? I'm up for anything! I haven't gone back to Vegas in many, many years (Heck I wasn't even legal to gamble the last time I went!) so I'm definitely looking forward to this trip! Any help or advice you guys can help me with would be much appreciated! :fuckyea: |
^^^ Unless you can get blue man group from the disount tickets line up... Blue man group is not worth $120. Posted via RS Mobile |
I heard that on Monday's XS is really bumpin as its their industry night, not too sure about Sundays though. I would recommend the Wynn buffet, their Alaskan king crab is really good if you are looking for some good seafood. I just stayed at the Aria for a couple of nights and the rooms are very nice however it is a little dark and the color scheme of the hallway is very dark and looks more suitable for a motel 6 but service and everything is great! Not sure about other hotels but if you rent a car and valet it, there is no overnight fees so thats pretty awesome. |
spice market buffet in planet holly wood is really good |
never go chris angels, i heard his show sucks. its all hype untill u watch it. only looks good on tv , but in real lifem suckkkkkkkkksss |
